The magic mouse is not particularly good for gameplay. Good gaming mice always have more than just the generic right and left click buttons. The magic mouse has only a right and left click, the scroll cannot even be clicked. While the mouse does include a scroll function, the scroll "wheel" itself cannot be clicked. The mouse is fantastic for home and office use however as far as gaming goes, I would stick with a good old logitech mouse.

Yes you can. Simply set up the mouse in your Bluetooth prefs on each machine and then it will connect to both Macs

Yes, of course you can. Many PC users don't know this, but Macs have have had "context-sensitive" (aka: right-click) menus, for ages. Way back when Mac first got "context-sensitive" menus (maybe they always had them), you had to hold -control- and click. With the might mouse, you just clicked the right hand side of the mouse, where the right-click button would be on a pc mouse, and that got you context-sensitive right-click menus. Same deal with this mouse.

No, but you can set up Exposé to activate when the mouse cursor is moved to a corner of the screen (System Preferences > Exposé & Spaces > Exposé > Active Screen Corners).

No it will not work because there is no cursor on the iPad however the apple wireless keyboard will work on any iPad, iPod touch, or iPhone via Bluetooth .

I am using a mac mini 1.83ghz mac mini and bought the magic mouse a couple of days ago. The magic mouse works fine with the mac mini but you need to install something off the apple website to make it work, if you are running snow leopard- Answered by Amitoj S from Paramus

what's considered usual battery life? We seem to burn through batteries and as of late the mouse continually becomes disconnected
also lately it becomes disconnected frequently and then is slow to reconnect.

We were having exactly the same trouble. I believe it's the type of batteries that are to blame. I know they are more expensive, but I recommend the lithium ones. Since using these, I've had no (touch wood) disconnection problems and they last heaps longer! Our iMac gets constant use; and I find the new ones last 6 weeks or more.

No, it is a bluetooth mouse, and will work with Macbook pro, Mac mini, iMac. If bluetooth is not already on the computer, then a bluetooth dongle will correct this.

I tried it with just one battery, and it would not power up. You need two batteries.
