Facetime will need to be turned on in settings-->FaceTime. Once enabled, it is accessed through the contacts app. Select a contact and you will see a facetime button appear. If it does not appear, then that contact does not have facetime enabled.

What is the difference in iphone4 and iphone4s
battery life? features?
- Asked by Cynthia H L from Greenville
- Feb 2, 2013
- Flag as inappropriate
Best AnswerThe 4S has a higher MP camera, dual antennas, a dual core A5 chip, and Siri. The battery life is better on 3G but the stand by time is lower. iOS is much much snappier on the 4S than the 4, and game performance is also greatly improved.

The iPhone 5 has built-in cellular data. It allows you to make calls. It also has better processing speeds, and runs 4G LTE. The iPhone 5 has been released. The iPod Touch 5 has not. If you are looking for a product that allows you to call, buy the iPhone. If not, buy iPod. iPhone users are required to purchase a 2-year contract with AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon.

Will alarm clock sound if phone is turned off?
- Asked by Robert B from Anderson
- May 9, 2013
- Flag as inappropriate
AnswerNo. Like all things that use electricity the iPhone needs to be turned on to function.
The alarm will sound if the unit is asleep however. To put the unit to sleep press the sleep/wake button at the top right corner. To power the unit off simply hold the same button until the "slide to power off" slider appears on the screen and then slide to power off. Your alarm will not function when the unit is powered off.- Answered by Sassy S from Kansas City

The IPhone specs for operating temperature and altitude do not appear adequate. What am I missing?
I am reading that the operating temperature range is 32 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit. The human body temperature is more than that. Also Apple is saying that the altitude limit is 10,000 feet which would leave out a lot of cities and towns in the Rockies. What are we supposed to believe from these specs?

I NEED A PHONE THAT IS A RELIABLE VOICE RECORDER
i'm going to buy an iphone but would like to record voices voices on it.is this possible and hwich phone is the best for that . the most economical solution please. linda weir
- Asked by Linda W
- May 2, 2013
- Flag as inappropriate
AnswerAll iPhones include Voice Memos, the stock voice recording app. This app can be used to record sound using the iPhone's built in microphones or an external microphone connected via the 3.5mm headphone jack, such as the microphone on the Apple EarPods. From Voice Memos, you can also play back, delete, and share recordings via text message, iMessage, or e-mail. Since all iPhones include this app out of the box the most economical solution would be the iPhone 4, but the iPhone 5 has the best sound recording quality overall due to the added third microphone next to the camera.
