interval training apps

I have seen an app that helps with interval training. It shows a time during which high level of heart rate activity takes place followed by a period of low intensity. I am interested in finding out more about this app as I am training for cycling and do my own interval training and believe this app would help me be more efficient.

Can I hook up Apple TV to a Promethean interactive board?

I have an iPhone 4S, iPod 4th generation (I think) and an iPad mini that I use at school. I currently use the lightning to board cable (the one with two screws) but it is a pain and I can't move around the room with it. Can I hook up Apple TV and use all of these devices wirelessly?

Should I get the 3rd gen refurbished model?

Apple is offering the 3rd generation iPad, or the "New iPad", starting at $379 for 16GB.
Is it worth it or should I purchase the the 4th gen iPad, because of the new processor. So really the question is, is the A6X processor a decent improvement over the A5X?

It would be used for educational games and apps for a grade 1 student.
Would also be used for simple games, but nothing like infinty blade.
And would pretty much do all the basic work for me.
