No, but some companies make wifi hard drives, like Segate, that let you put data on them with a computer. Then you can wirelessly connect the drive to you iPad and you can see the content on the drive. HOWEVER, with these drives, you can only store data, like music, photos, and videos. NO APPS. YOU ALSO CANNOT MOVE DATA OFF OF THE iPAD AND ONTO THE DRIVE. Only from the drive to the iPad.

Should I get an iPad mini or iPad 2?
I'm a student and president of my Greek organization. I would mostly be using it for class, meetings, and travel. I will be doing a lot of internet usage and emailing, along with using apps to take notes and manage timetables, as well as FaceTiming. I wouldn't really be using it for music or games since I have an iPhone.

It all depends on your personal preference. Can you visit a store and try out the apps you'll be using? Depending on how deep you are in the ecosystem, you may want to pay attention to the fact that they use different connectors. The iPad 2 is compatible with more existing third-party devices with the familiar 30-pin adapter, while the Mini uses the new lightning adapter. This was a real nuisance (and added expense) for me when I upgraded to iPhone 5.

Can I still purchase iPad first generation

Best Answer
Yes. The are refurbished first generation iPad's available on the Apple Store website at reduced rates. Go to store.apple.com and look in the lower left corner for the refurbished items. I have purchased several refurb items form apple and they all worked wonderfully, in fact they seemed as good as new. They have new batteries and came with a one year warranty. Availability and price can change daily, so if you see something you want, I recommend getting it.

If you're going to carry it around than get the iPad mini but if you're just going to use it at home than get the retina display iPad also if you don't mind carrying something big around than again get the retina display iPad.

iMac(+iPad) or MacBook Pro?
I am a Junior in High School, I am quickly approaching Graduation and College. I have been stuck between picking the portability of the MacBook Pro and the power of the iMac. I should state that I like gaming and have a vlog that I have to edit. So that I can still be portable in College, I was thinking about getting a iPad in conjunction with the iMac. I would take the iPad with me to classes, to take notes, and to the library for on the go studying. With that I would do most of my gaming, video editing, and scholarly stuff on the iMac. On the other hand I would just take the MBP with me everywhere, and do everything on it, however I am a little concerned about the capabilities of it for playing games and video editing. Any Suggestions for what the best pick is for a extreme gamer, vloger, and College?

Answer
I'd say go with the Macbook Pro. I myself have a 2011 Macbook Pro with a 2.2Ghz i7 & AMD 6750M 1GB dedicated graphics card. I primarily use this for music work (Music Tech student) so running audio software, which can be quite demanding on the Mac, as well as general use (word processing, internet, listening to music, etc).
Up to now, I've used a gaming PC I built, for all my gaming needs but seeing as I am off to uni next month, taking a massive water cooled gaming PC with me to student accommodation doesn't seem like an excellent idea... It's just too big and excessive.
Therefore, I installed Windows 7 on my Macbook Pro through Boot Camp and let me tell you, I was pleasantly surprised with it's gaming performance. Now this is at the 15" resolution of 1440x900 (I haven't got round to trying it on a 1080p 21" monitor that I'll be using at Uni)... It runs Battlefield 3 on medium settings perfectly, there's no graphics lag and there's always a smooth FPS rate. I don't know if it'll handle high settings as I simply haven't tried them but the new 2012 Macbook Pro's have the Nvidia GT 650M which is a faster GPU than the AMD 6750M, so there should be no problem there. I've transferred my steam account over and the Macbook runs every game I throw at it; Mass effect 3, Skyrim, Dead space 2, Crysis 2, Portal 2, the list goes on.
One thing to note is that the Macbook Pro will get hot during these gaming sessions and the fans usually spin up to full speed to keep cool air running through the computer. This would also happen with an iMac as they simply don't have as efficient cooling as a desktop computer. So long as you keep it well ventilated and use a pair of headphones/turn up the volume, it doesn't pose a problem.- Answered by Michael B

Why does my phone hold more storage than the iPad mini when they are the same GB
I've compared both my iPhone and iPad mini, which are the same GB, and it seems that my phone is able to hold much more storage than the iPad mini. I'm finding that when I go to update an app that I already have on the iPad mini, a message will pop up saying that there is not enough storage and to go to settings to make changes. I'm having to delete apps due to the fact that my ipad mini doesn't have enough "storage". I'm pretty disappointed in the iPad mini, and upset at the price I paid for it. Is there anything I can do about increasing my storage on the iPad mini?

ipad mini or ipad with retina for college
I cannot decide between the ipad mini and the ipad with retina. I am an engineering student and want to carry around an iPad instead of lugging my books plus laptop around. I want to be able to pull it out in class and read my books on it.
Is the mini going to be hard to read my textbooks on? is the ipad 4 going to be too large to pull out in class, is it worth the extra money?
Obviously the 170 dollar price difference is a big deal. I also am not sure if I need the 32gb. I don't plan on using it for much besides school, so no music downloads or movies will be stored on it.- Asked by Jaime R from Saint Peters

I can honestly say that the iPad mini displays textbooks (and all books for that matter) really, really well. The size is perfect because it is really thin and light, something that can't be said of the full size iPad. It's super easy to type and highlight on the mini and takes up less space in your bag. The full size iPad may be a tad faster at key things like opening apps or opening a webpage a few seconds faster, but the iPad mini is perfectly speedy enough to do anything and everything from reading and annotating books, to creating documents, spreadsheets, and presentations, to loading big pages and running super powerful apps with no lag whatsoever. The battery life on the mini is also fantastic, and it really is quite portable and capable for its size and price. The smaller screen size doesn't compromise any of the apps or functionality of a full size iPad at all. Hope I helped!

How do I hear sound from my iPad through my car sound system?
I have an iPad 3 and want to listen to audiobooks whilst driving my car on frequent long distant travel. I drive a VW Golf. The speaker in the iPad is not strong enough to hear over the engine noise at speed and holding th iPad with speaker uppermost on my lap is satisfactory for sound but unsatisfactory for safety.
