If you have Wifi only, you need Wifi access to connect. If you have a data connected smartphone and acquire the tethering service, you can generate a wifi hotspot via your phone's data connection.

No, you cannot engrave any Apple product in the Apple Store. You can only engrave an Apple product in the online Apple Store.

Wifi Internet connection is included on all ipad 4 models.

This means wherever your ipad is IF their is a wifi connection you are able to connect if you have the security information. You can connect to any open networks (no password.) There is no additional costs for this only the usual cost of the Internet the phone company charges your family each month. This Internet can only be used in some places or sometimes only at home.

3G/4G/LTE is Internet every where at a cost by home much you use,.

You can also set up a personal hotspot on devices that have 3G/ 4G / LTE this is an Internet connection that you pay for sepratly by buying a micro-sim.

Overall, you are not charged as much for wifi and it IS included in the device for no extra cost. I find wifi alone is fine for my ipad and don't find the need to use celluar. Yes basically wifi models can only use wifi hotspots where as wifi+ cellular models can use Internet everywhere at a cost

The new generation iPad is the 4th Generation. Updated connector to the Lightning connector. A6X Chip now updated with 2x Graphics, 2x Performance, Improved Image Signal Processor, improved and faster Wi-Fi a/b/c/n and improved 4G/LTE cellular to more carriers.

It is improved and more of a powerhouse compared to its predecessor of the iPad 3rd Generation with Retina Display of which both have.

I recently upgraded to the iPad 3 from the original iPad. Along with the beautiful new screen, there is a noticeable reduction of glare in the new iPad. I've also used an iPad 2, and can say with certainty that both earlier versions are WAY harder to use in sunlight than the third-generation. I think it's called IPS technology (in-plane-switching).
