About company discounts
Hello!
I'm working for Starbucks Coffee company and they offer starbucks partners discount for apple products.
We have a partner site directly connects to apple.com and able to choose the products with discounted rate.
Is there any way I can go to the shop in person, show my partner card and get the same discount rate? or Is it just works only through the online?
Please let me know if I can get the products in person.- Asked by Heejeong K from Pender Island

AnswerYour EPP works in the store as well. Show them proof of employment and you'll get it. I don't think there is an EPP discount on iPads though.

Best AnswerYou do not need a cable to connect your iPad mini to Apple TV. Just download the Remote App from App Store and while your iPad Mini and Apple TV are on the same network, you can control Apple TV from your iPad MIni.
It is very useful, as the Ipad screen becoes a giant Trackpad for Apple TV and you can type using the on screen keyboard.- Answered by Oguz A from Fairfax

what is the difference between the ipad third generation and the ipad fourth generation
I bought the ipad third generation and less than a year later the fourth gen was released, and the biggest difference i could tell without doing too much digging was that they have different connectors, 30-pin for the third gen and lightning for the fourth gen, is this all that there was?

Best AnswerThe iPad 1 has NO cameras, and it has the mediocre A4 Apple proccessor with 256mb of memory. It has a curved back. It also doesn't work with smart covers. The celllular model has 3G to add to the wifi standard.
The iPad 2 has a front-facing camera for facetime video chats, and it has a 720p HD rear camera with about 1 megapixel stills. The iPad 2 is compatible with the smart covers that apple makes. The 2 has an A5 processor and 512mb of memory. It has a relatively flat back, making it a lot lighter and thinner than the first ipad. The cellular model has 3G to add to the wifi.
The iPad 3 has the same front facing camera and facetime. It also supports smart covers. The back camera uses better optics in general, as well as it can film in 1080p HD, and can take 5MP still photos with autofocus/stabilization. The cellular model supports 4G LTE along with wi-fi. The iPad three, when the software is updated, can use Siri, the digital assistant on the iPhone 4S. The main improvement is the Retina display, which has four times as many pixels, to give a crisper image. It displays better colors, as well. This iPad has a 1GHz A5X processor and 1GB of memory.
They all come in 16, 32, or 64gb hard drive sizes. Hope this helped!!- Answered by Evan D from Brooklyn

Should I get an iPod touch or an iPad Mini? Not much in price difference, but the iPod is handy for listening to music when moving, being pocket size.

Best AnswerWhat type of person are you? Gamer/Music/Internet Surfer etc.
If you're a gamer then the iPad Mini would be perfect if you're on a budget. It's fast, light and has great graphics.
If you're into music, then the iPod Touch because you'd be able to listen to music whilst on the go.- Answered by Ben F

Should I get an iPad Mini or an iPad 4th Generation?
I am going to be a college student next year and I am going to use some of my graduation money to buy myself an iPad. I already have a macbook pro and I love it. The iPad would mainly be used as a secondary device to watch Netflix, play games, respond to emails and the like! I will also be doing a lot of traveling during the year (member of my University's football team) So i will spend a lot of time on planes and buses during the fall. What model do you think is right for me?

Should I get a 16gb or 32 gb?
I am an athletic trainer and planning on using it to have some resources at my hands, along with making injury reports. Only planning on putting movies on if we are traveling. Not going to put any music on it because I have other devices for that. Mainly just anatomy apps, injury reporting, and a few games.

AnswerI have just purchased the 16 gb and went on a cruise, after videoing and taking pictures, my ipad was full, I am disappointed that I didn't pay the extra and get the 32gb. I personally advise you to get the 32gb.

Which choice is best for a high school student: the Macbook Air and iPad 4th generation or the Macbook Pro and iPad Mini?
I have just started high school this year and have been doing so well that my parents had decided to get me better electronics for my school needs. I have a budget and so I had to choose between the two above choices. I've been having such a hard time choosing because there are just too many factors too consider; I want a great Mac that can last me 'till the end of high school and an iPad I can use everyday for things like games, music, emailing, facebook and movies but mostly for reading and school (textbooks, etc...) Please help me choose!!!

Best AnswerOk,
I would DEFINITLY go with the macbook pro and iPad mini since one is kinda big and one is kinda small. Also, remember that the macbook air is REALLY light and it doesn't take discs. Also, there was this story of a stupid guy who threw his macbook air out because it was so light. NEVER do that. That would be terrible.
So ipad mini:
Smaller
easier to carry
iPad with Retina display
retina display
faster
bigger screen
Mac Air:
light
can go REALLY small
Mac pro: (I would suggest the one with retina display
retina display (if wanted)
takes discs
not as light and easy to break
if heavier not as easy to break- Answered by Mariah L

Best Answer
It depends. I have both but everyone fits best for its main "function".
The iPad is more like a lightweight and "simplified laptop" : the screen is big enough to let you read/write emails, surf the web... the keyboard is almost as big as a real one... but, to me, its not a device I always have with me. The device I always have with me is my iPhone : I can do a lot of things (reading/writing emails, surf the web, edit documents, playing games...). I almost use the iPhone on movement (subway, bus, hanging out with friends) while I pick up my iPad when I'm not on the rush (it doesn't mean I have to be at home to use it, but I need to "sit down"). With the iPad I really appreciate the extra screen space (you can still write a long email on an iPhone but not with the same comfort), surfing the web, editing a document, reading an article, writing something is a much more beautiful experience here.
With the iPhone I really appreciate the "always with me" factor : are you thinking of this artist you can't remember ? Go on the net right out of your pocket. Are you on the street wondering if that restaurant is still open at midnight ? Just make a phone call. You are new in town and 're looking for the main station ? Let's take a look at google maps.
The difference (aside the fact that only the iPhone makes phone calls ;-) to me is : are you more like "to go digital" on the way or are you more like to "go digital" while "sitting down" ?
You can do exactly the same things with both devices (but phone calls on the iPad ;-), as you can see it's more about your kind of usage.
I hope this helps.- Answered by Morris L
