Microsoft Office for Ipad Mini?
I want to get an Ipad Mini, just basically to use as I use my laptop but more portable. The thing I use the most on my laptop is Microsoft Office. I realise that is Windows Operating System software, so would I be able to use it on the Ipad Mini?

can i use my iphone charger to charge my ipad?
- Asked by John R from Valencia
- Jun 1, 2012

Best Answer
The iPhone charger will charge an iPad but at about half the rate of the charger that is supplied with the iPad. Lithium ion battery charging is managed inside of the device (i.e.iPad or iPhone) based on the state of charge and the voltage profile during charge.
Think of the following analogy ...
If you are filling identical buckets with two different hoses, one hose with twice the rate of flow as the of the other hose. The bucket being filled by the hose with the higher flow rate would fill twice as fast as the one being filled with the hose with the lesser flow rate. Both hoses have automatic shut off mechanisms that keep the buckets from overflowing.
The same basic analogy holds true with the two different chargers. The battery management circuitry inside of your iPhone or iPad are the automatic shutoff to keep the battery from being damaged by overcharging. Since the iPhone charger has about half the maximum charge current capability as that of the iPad charger, it will take about twice the time to charge an iPad.- Answered by Paul D from Noblesville

Best Answer
It can, if you download a certain apps like textnow that allows you to text for free and you can make calls if you have credits on the app. They give you at least five free credits which are worth five minutes of talking and you can watch videos on the app to get free credits or you can be credits.

Best Answer
Yes, you can have several if you wish;
Either you may sync your email accounts via iTunes or
Manually enter the credentials into your iPad itself. The iPad has a set up wizard for this.
Open 'Settings' and scroll down to 'Mail, Contacts, Calendars' and select.
Click on 'Add Account' and you will be presented with several popular options such as, iCloud, MS Exchange, Google Mail, Yahoo, MS Hotmail, MobileME and Other.
Other would be the option you would choose for add your own provider's POP or IMAP eMail account.
You may run this set up wizard for as many email accounts you wish.- Answered by Peter V from Sarasota

Apple will not buy any of your products. They sell, not buy tablets, mp3s, and electronic devices at very reasonable prices. Instead, you could sell your iPad online.

My company would like to use facetime as a customer service tool, what would be the best ipad this?
We would like to give our customers the option to see our products and speak to a real person who can answer any question they may have about the product.
The use of the device will be purely for facetime (and possibly skype),
We would like to know which ipad would best suit us?- Asked by Robert J
- May 17, 2013

Answer
To achieve this, you will need an iPad 2, New iPad, or iPad with Retina Display. Also, I would personally use Skype, because it is compatible with almost every computer and mobile device. FaceTime is only available on Apple devices. Even if you do use Skype, you will need an iPad as I mentioned above. I would suggest a 16GB New iPad (3rd Generation). I believe that they will still sell them at Best Buy. The color (White or Black) is up to you, and so is the case. I hope that will be a successful tool for your business!

I dropped my new iPad, that I've only had a couple of weeks, and it shattered instantly. It was a pretty short fall about 2 feet. I was hoping that the apple store would cut me a break, but no dice. They said it'd be $300 to get a replacement. It still worked fine but I had a spider web in the corner. I would definitely get a thick case it's more than worth the money. I truly hope this isn't a sign of things to come as I truly love Apple.

can i connect an external hard drive to an ipad
- Asked by Wylde P from St. Albert
- Aug 11, 2012

Best Answer
yes, you can connect external hard drives for the iPad. I use one because i regret buying the 16gb iPad 3, because the storage is not enough.
I use Seagate GoFlex Satellite, it is a wireless external hard drive, and you can access your content from an app downloadable from app store. the problem is, when you connect your iPad to it, your internet connection shuts down, because your wifi connects to the hard drive, and you can ONLY access your content from the app, not in your usual galleries.
i don't really know if you can use it with a wired external hard drive, but the seagate model was the best one i could find.
if you want to store pictures only, it's better to buy the camera connection kit from apple.- Answered by Victor N from Manhattan
