Does the new 2T time capsule replace the airport express base station?

Does the new Airport Express have noticeable range improvements from it's predecessor?

I currently use the old Airport Express to extend my wireless network broadcasted from my Time Capsule 2nd generation.
Unfortunately, the room I have my Airport Express in, which has poor service to the Time Capsule directly, is not always within working range.

If I upgraded my Airport Express to the newer unit, should I expect to see a NOTICEABLE improvement in coverage range?

I'm specifically asking those users who have used both; do you notice a significant improvement worthy of spending $100 on upgrading my device, keeping in mind this is really only so I can get strong WiFi extended from my Time Capsule and have it more reliable than the extended signal I currently have from the older Airport Express.

Does it expand a wireless signal/range, other than Airport, time capsule or airport express?

I use a Q1000 modem for CenturyLink and was wondering if it can expand the wireless range on this model.

Can I use a new airport express solely as an access point for playstation 3 to utilize 5GHz? Already have extreme and another express.

Are Canon printers supported by the new Airport Express?

The CAPT and UFR2 drivers for Mac OS X require bidirectional communication with the printer. That is, as well as sending data to the printer, they expect data to be sent back.
 
Unless the new Airport Express is different to its predecessors, the USB port on the Airport does not support bidirectional communication and this stops the UFR2 and CAPT driver from working.

Is the new Airport Express compatible with those drivers?

What is the difference between the new Airport Express and the current Airport Extreme? They look the same except for the number of LAN ports.

Can the new Airport Express Base Station extend the network from a new Airport Extreme Base Station AND use Airplay at the same time?

My old Airport Express cannot do both, you either have to set it up to create a network, join an existing network to extend it, or set it up for AirTunes. If the new one could do both, I'll buy it.

2 new airport express, 1 avr, 1 stereo receiver

Can i make this configuration?

1. First Airport express connected to my dlink router via wan port.

2. Second airport express extending the First Express wifi network without ethernet cable.

3. Connect at the second airport express my denon receiver through it´s LAN port so i can manage my receiver with it´s own app.

4. Connect the first airport express with a stereo cable to a stereo receiver to airplay.
