Which projector is best suited to macbook pro, early 2011, 15" ? One that is EASY to connect, operate & reliable.

I have read about people experiencing loads of problems with projects, not working properly. I am not experienced with computers, though I do love my MacBook pro :D. I need a projector that will work easily to be used mostly in a room that will not be totally dark. Sometimes a still Image being projected on various sizes of card or sheets of paper (project for students to copy image).
May be used also with keynote for short presentations. Obviously video use at times too. Something that is durable. Do I need to buy seperate special connectors? ? Where in IRELAND can I get it?
