Yes, assuming your Mac is on the list of supported models:
iMac (Mid 2007 or newer)
MacBook (Late 2008 Aluminum, or Early 2009 or newer)
MacBook Pro (Mid/Late 2007 or newer)
Xserve (Early 2009)
MacBook Air (Late 2008 or newer)
Mac mini (Early 2009 or newer)

Yes, as long as your computer meets the minimum requirements.
Go to Apple.com->Mac tab->OSX Mountain Lion->Tech Specs. Then find out which model you have. 2GB ram is minimum required, and support all Aluminum iMacs, Unibody MacBooks, and Mid/Late 2007 Macbook Pros- Answered by Joshua F from Bowling Green

Yes. That is what I did.
If you use isync, be sure to get the latest version first so it will work with Mountain Lion (iSync v3.2 if I remember correctly).- Answered by Bill A from Mission Viejo
