    1gb is 250 songs. So 2gb would hold around 500 songs or less. It depends on the length of each song and how big the file is.

  • Brand new today 2GB holds 241 songs, I was told at the John Lewis apple department it would hold about 1000, on here I read 500, seems like someone is overestimating by a lot. Just above me another user of this year states 234 which is close to mine.
