Is it possible to transfer complete email contact list from my laptop to IPad?

Yes, if you are using an application such as Outlook and have saved your contacts there, then you can go into iTunes, connect your iPad > Info tab > the click sync contacts and it should sync your contacts from outlook application. If you are using Address Book, I recommend using iCloud and syncing it wirelessly, you need lion 10.7.3 and the latest iOS (5.1) on the mac, go into settings and configure iCloud then the same on the iPad and it should all sync together and work. It worked for me

Yes, quite easily.
You can either install itunes on your laptop and sync contacts
or

You can transfer e-mail, contacts, calendars & iWork documents using iCloud. I hope this helps.
