    Useful, but....

    • Written by from London

I use this dock everyday, and take it to school with me. It is very useful, as it is just the right angle, but... when using line-out, you can plug headphones into the back, and i like this. But you can't change the volume of the speakers. The headphones are constantly on full volume and you can't change it.

    Good but...

    • Written by from Lombard

I have always loved the Apple docks. I don't use a case so they always worked for me. Previous generations of the phone allowed you to plug in your headphones on the top the the phone, but the new 5c has it on the bottom. While you can plug your headphones in to the dock, the volume controls on the phone do not work and the volume is way too loud in the headphones. Hopefully they remedy this as I'm sure it's a software issue. It's still a great charging station, just wish the volume worked.

    Great product, but expensive price.

Like all Apple products, this dock for the iPhone 5C works great and looks even better, but the price is a bit steep. Also, like all of Apple's other docks, you must charge it without a case.

    Cool Looking, less Function

    • Written by from Springfield

It looks great! It has a nice grip patch on the bottom to keep it from sliding around. It has an audio out port for your speaker system. It is nice to have your phone sitting up on your desk so you can see alerts quickly. It is also a fairly good angle for FaceTime.

However, it takes a good amount of force to get the two together/apart. It isn't enough by any means to be damaging, but it just feels really snug. You have to be sure to line up the connector exactly. It takes two hands to put it together/apart, and i frequently just pick it up. It isn't the drop it in / grab and go solution I was expecting. However, it is about the same difficulty as plugging in the regular charger.

Finally, you can't adjust the audio out level for the back port, and the headphone port is on the bottom. Really, you can't use this dock with headphones.

    Overall, fancy looking, no function.

Do not buy if you use a thin iPhone case

    • Written by from CONGLETON

This is great quality and has that lovely "Apple" feel. However even the thinnest iPhone case will prevent you from inserting the phone in this stand. If you do use an iPhone case and do not want to keep having to remove it get the Belkin version instead!
