what the difference within ipod touch 3rd generation and 4th generation?

the differences are:
size
thickness
the bottom is flat not curved
face time
cameras
the tilt accuracy is higher(3 point gyroscope accuracy i think)
the screen is laminated on to it

No, the universal dock adapter is not included with the iPod Touch.
The iPod Touch's page in the Apple Store on the web lists everything that's included in the box (except for 2 Apple logo stickers).- Answered by Robert D from Nashua

Will this dock fit Panasonic compact stereo system model SC-HC30DB, so that I can play my ipod touch music through its speakers?
I refer to the very discouraging review from one Panasonic owner. I've only just got my very first MP3 player (iPod Touch), and fitting it onto the existing dock plug allows it to play but only through the iPod itself, so I looked up my Panasonic manual, where it said 'Be sure to use the dock adapter either supplied with the iPod/iPhone or commercially available from Apple Inc.' If this universal adapter 3-pack is suitable I will purchase it from you, but I'm put off by your reviewer (1 of 2). Please kindly advise.

It is not listed as one of the items that is included in the box. So, no the dock adapter is not included in the box. There are dock adapters that you can buy for 9 dollars.

No. All iPods use the same 30-pin dock connector except the shuffle. The reason they sell these dock adapters is because the back of the ipod touchs change. this product is designed to make the new ipod touch 4g fit snugly in the existing universal dock

Does the dock adapter fit in the Panasonic Compact Stereo System SC-HC20?
I have a Nano 16G and it will not fit in the dock on the Panasonic. Will one of there Universal Dock Adapters make it fit? I tried to buy one at the Apple Store, but they did not have one for this model. I purchased it in 6/2010 so I guess it is a 4th generation.
