Apple iPad 10W USB Power Adapter

Since this is a 10W charger, will it be faster to charge my ipod touch 4th Gen then to use the regular apple ipod charger?

  • It should not charge it faster. Only 5 watts are used to charge the iPad, the other 5 watts operate the iPad itself.

    The charger your iPod came with is designed for maximum charging while operating the iPod.

    Converseley, though, your (e.g. 5 watt) iPod charger will allow you to (slowly) charge your iPad while operating it, which is not possible on a regular USB port.
