It is easy to set up and uses my wireless internet at home to upload the data to my account where I also keep my activities, food intake and sleep patterns (using the fitbit tracker to record activities and sleep). Everything concerning my health and wellbeing is located on the same place easily accessed on my computer, iPad and iPhone. I love it! …

Not worth the money

My problems started after using for one month, keep getting error message, stand on scales says sensing, step off, thinking err. I reset them by removing batteries as suggest by fitbit, still they won't work, I now see many people are having the same problem. I can return mine still under warranty, some people have had theirs for two years so are out of luck. I will be returning mine and will get a refund, don't want a replacement will probably end up with the same problem. These scales obviously have a flaw and should be withdrawn from sale. I am very disappointed with them, they were terrific while they worked but now a piece of expensive junk. Before buying check out the fitbit community and see what problems people are having. …

Expensive piece of JUNK
Purchased scale because I love the Fitbit flex and the idea of having a scale sync my info sucked me into buying this expensive pi Purchased scale because I love the Fitbit flex and the idea of having a scale sync my info sucked me into buying this expensive piece of junk. The first scale (yes I had to purchase 2 and neither worked) defective right out of the box had obviously been returned and put back on the shelf broken for me to buy. I got it home and it was obvious that someone else returned it since I could not get it to forget the previous persons router name and go into setup mode. Fit bit offered to take it back and charge me for return shipping (total BS). The second one I purchased took me almost 3 hours to set up since it would not recognize my router. It had no problem seeing every other router in the neighborhood but mine despite having the scale sitting right next to my router? After some odd miracle and 300 attempts to get it to connect it magically found my router and then wouldn't calibrate (kept telling me I weighed 88 pound). Called support and we got it to calibrate and weigh correctly. Well, it worked for only ONE short day until it lost my router info after we made a simple network upgrade. I have been trying to get it to re-connect now for most of the day. Seems my router and network is invisible to Aria again? Tech support wont help and tells me to send them screen shots and that it may take them 48 hours to help me. The one email I got from Aria support simply said to empty my chache and try to connect again. I did that and that did nothing. we have tried every possible set-up method advised with no luck. I guess support thinks I can wait another 48 hours for them to respond and try to give me another piece of worthless advise to get this piece of junk to work. Phone support is someone in another country reading scripts and belittling you in broken English. Thank you very much, but I am quite able to read the same help menu scripts that the support help people are reading back to me from a scripted help menu. My husband is a computer engineer and has 30 years working with software and he can't even figure this out. How in the heck does Fitbit think the normal everyday joe will be able to figure these issues out? Fitbit obviously is missing the boat with the software on this thing, it is buggy and BAD! This is a total piece of JUNK, I will be returning the second one I bought and going back to manually entering my weight info. Thank goodness for KOHLS that is supper easy to return products to. …

Aria Scale Fixed

I have been using it for about a year and after a little fiddling with the setup had it working fine for a year until I changed my router. I must have wasted 3 hours plus on this thing, it just would not connect to my new router, I tried everything, at least I thought I had, until I noticed a very small hole in the bottom, I used my iPhone sim tool to press a button inside for ten seconds whilst putting in the last battery and tried one more time. Success! Frustrating but worth it as I really love watching my weight change over time and the whole family is on it to.
Some work on the setup would be appreciated and an ipad interface not a scaled up iPhone app interface would be nice, but overall it will help you get the results when linked to a FitBit tracker. Really motivates you when you see your exercise input and how it effects your weight loss program. …
