Very cool product.
Bought one of these a while ago and I use it everywhere. Instead of lugging your charger with you to friends houses, you can use this along with their iPhone 4 charger to charge if need be.

Connects up to the existing car setup, which originally was for the iPhone 4. Works perfectly. I have been reading the reviews on the cases and I have a slim belkin case and have had no dramas connecting it up to that with the case being in the way.

This adapter is totally useless. I brought it because apple told me that it would support audio and allow me to continue using my previous docking station, however, I found that when connecting my ipod 5th generation to my ipig docking station the only thing it would do was charge my ipod. Therefore, audio is not compatible and the adapter is totally useless. Also, the connector is very weak and flimsy, i did not trust it enough take my hand from behind my ipod for fear of it falling off. Pointless product!

Plays music when attached to my Pioneer head unit with 30 pin plug. Does not charge the Ipod though. My old Ipod when plugged directly would play and charge the Ipod. Now I have to continually bring the Ipod out of my car to charge whereas i used to just leave my old one connected permanently.

Apple really need to come up with a complete working solution since they decided to change to the lighting plug. I now have docking stations and more that are either useless or only partially working with the new connector.

This plug worked fine in my car for a couple of weeks...now when I plug it up all I get is SILENCE!!! Apple should not have changed the chargers/adapters/connections! This is really upsetting that I purchased a phone that is now useless for playing music in my car.

I have purchased apple Lightening to 30-pin adapter and attached to 30 pin connector (GL450) and it relays music without any problem. However, it is not charging the phone.When I connected using Scosche passport and apple Lightening to 30-pin adapter. It plays outstanding music and charges the phone simultaneously. Therefore, for those who want to use rightaway, please follow the above method. It also worked in Mercedes C350 car.

I bought this, so I could continue using my Zeppelin mini iPhone dock. It does not however work like it says. It charges the iPhone, but the audio doesn't go through the adaptor. It just plays through the iPhone speakers. Really a shame, since my pretty expensive dock is under 1 year old.

I bought this for my new 7th gen Nano as it's the only way to get it to work with my old docking stations etc, but as the port on the Nano is positioned to the side not in the centre at the bottom it look rediculous....We all love apple for their clever design so that fact they didn't put the port in the centre surprised me ..... PLEASE PLEASE make an adapter which allows my nano to sit centrally on all my existing gadgets!

I like that I have the option of the adapter, the down side is that it doesn't fit through my case like the cable does. Had I realized this prior to purchase I would have bought another cable instead of 2 adapters. It would be nice if the adapter was modified to be able to fit through a case.

After two weeks this adaptor stopped working and appears to have a burned out the connectors on one side. Poor quality.
