Contrary to most of these reviews that you will read, the bumpers are fully functional on several dimensions, and the white looks classy on the black iPhone. The bumper protects the important parts of the phone, while also serving to better the call reception by protecting the antenna. As long as you are not completely destructive with your phone, this is enough protection for putting your phone down on most every surface. The ports are all perfectly accessible, and the volume keys work great. I have had my phone and bumper since Christmas and have not noticed any scratches on the sides of the phone from the bumper, and it is still very much white.

Don't read too much into the skeptics, this product is well made; far too over-priced, but well made.

I love this case! It protects my iPhone but does not feel bulky like a normal case. The only downside is that my iPhone lives in my jeans and the case is tinted slightly blue. However I have heard this goes away if you use magic eraser. Overall it is a great case for someone who wants their iPhone to remain slim.

Ok, I'll get straight to the point. This case is great for looks, and not so great when it comes to durability. I have a white bumper and it looks great on my white iPhone. However, the plastic chips off very easily, and on top of that, the rubber peels off after some time. Overall, it's a good case, but if it's durability you're looking for, then this case is probably not for you.

I got the white bumper. Had it for 2 months. The gray part around the edges tends to pick up a lot of smudges. Would reccommend a different color if that disturbs you. I have drop my phone twice and my phone was protected! No worries there. I take out my bumper weekly and I do not get any scratches on the metal like everyone else say they have. Overral I like it. Just wish the product was cheaper but overrall satisfied.

Bought this bumper shortly after the purchase of my white iPhone 4. Overall it's a great bumper. It does not scratch the metal band around the phone. It protects the sides and adds a lay-on-table design.

However, there are 2 flaws. Number one: The headphone jack opening is too recessed for some of my connectors. Kinda annoying. And Number Two: The rubber part discolors over time. I've had it on for a month and the rubber band has gotten dirty. However, I cleaned it with a Magic Eraser and it looks much better. Again, kinda annoying, but not a huge problem.

So, if you take good care of it, by all means, get it!

Tried so many cases and covers, but nothing bets the bumper. It's an ideal mix of protection and minimalism. Currently using the white one for my white iPhone 4S, and nothing comes close in terms of suiting the product better than this. Would have given 5 stars if it had been a little slimmer and the bottom dock cut-out been not so sharp edged.

Yes its more likely to stain due to its nature or rubber edges, its rather obvious if you choose white but it goes really well with the white iphone 4s.

I had this cover about 2 weeks now and so far so good its still clean inside the bumper frame but that depends on the use of the phone, i use it day to day through work and night.

Alcahol wet wipes can fix minor stains but avoid if you have engine oil or brake dust on your finger tips!

I use this on my white iphone 4s and it looks great.. finally, a case that doesn't take away from the phone! I have the invisible shield on the front and back so I'm not really worried about scratches on those areas. Minus one star because I had it in my back pocket and the drk blue jean color transfered onto the gray area, it doesn't look that bad though.

I've purchased 3 (white, black, & pink) for my iPhone 4 (AT&T) and it has truly helped. I've dropped my phone repeatedly on all sorts of surfaces and from various heights. I have never had a crack, dent, or scratch from these drops. I know it doesn't have a screen protector, but after a year and a half with my iPhone 4, I have very minimal scratching.

I agree with others' remarks regarding the discoloration of the white one. I also had this happen, but the pink and black ones maintained a quality appearance.

I would definitely recommend. I will be purchasing more for my iPhone 4S when it gets here (The original AT&T cases aren't compatible, which is VERY frustrating...).

I personally don't like most cases that are made for the iphone 4. So when I came across this bumper, I decided to try it out since it showed off my white iphone so beautifully (plus I've dropped my phone twice and the bumper completely protected it). I've had it for about 3 months now and the only bad thing I can say about it is that the grey rubber gets dirty quite easily. I'm going to repurchase one soon just because I love it so much. I'm only upset about the fact that it's a 30 dollar product that should be replaced every 3-4 months. Otherwise, I'm happy!
