    Not Very Good

You really can't fit anything in this bag. It is not very good for travel and makes it a little more difficult.

    Worst Backpack Ever!

    • Written by from Colorado Springs

I'm an IT Specialist. My previous backpack was bulky and outdated, and when I saw the Cocoon SLIM Backpack, I was excited to get it.

After 2 weeks of owning this, the main compartment zipper busted. I took it back to Apple, and they had no problem exchanging the item for another SLIM Backpack. Yet, again the zippers busted and the material has come apart on the front and top.

The design is great, but the quality is horrible. I'm now checking out leather messenger bags....

    Cool Product but very fragile

    • Written by from Hong Kong

From the review i've read before i bought this bag, i knew the zipper were the weak point of this bag, so i decided i would be careful and wouldn't load the front pocket too much.
But even like this, one of the front zipper broke in the first 16 hours of use! I had time to open the front pocket once or twice, put my stuff inside, go to work, tried to open it back to get something, and the zipper broke. It should have been the 5 or 6th it was used! what kind of quality control is that? The zipper was bent and would not work anymore. Actually i'm happy this happened so quick, so i could asked for a refund immediately.
This is a really cool bag otherwise, fantastic to organize and make sure you only take the strict necessary stuff with you (forget anything more bulky than a mouse). The zip are "waterproof", the linen inside the bag are soft and protect your gizmo.
But quality is poor, and you're likely to have a broken product very quickly. At this price, this is inexcusable.
    You have been warned...

    Bad quality

Huge disappointment. Had to replace the first one because of lousy stitching. The second one had good stitching but the zippers fell apart on the second week. Horrible quality control. I don't recommend it.

    Poor quality

After looking up several reviews and from my own experience, these backpacks rip and tear along the straps within weeks. I am returning mine today.

VERY BAD quality. What a disappointment!!

I bought this on October last year. I wanted to invest money in a good quality product to protect my also expensive Macbook Pro. The zippers started having troubles after the first month of use. A month ago, one of them simply would not work anymore at all, causing me to lose my wallet, since one of the pockets opened just like that. Don't buy it! Invest in good quality elsewhere. I wish I could return or exchange it now.

    Not durable

    • Written by from Singapore

I purchased the bag in November 2013. Within 1 month, the backpack strap is broken. The way the strap is designed is not durable because it has joins in the strap where they put the "cocoon" logo. After 4 months, the zip is broken. I just contacted them and hope they would send a replacement.

The idea was awesome however lousy stitching have rendered it useless. I went through 2 backpacks and now am giving up on this product.

    Not that good

The zips started to get difficult to open or close after one month of using. The shoulder strap torn at the threads. Not worth the price.

    really big and heavy!

    • Written by from Salt lake City

The 'SLIM' backpack is entirely a misnomer. This sucker is way way too big. What is the point in slimming down the mac books and then getting something twice its weight to carry it. Me no likey. I just bought the STM linear bag and its a million times better, lighter, and far more stylish.
