I got this for xmas when I was still driving a Honda Accord. Its awesome and the size doesn't let it get in the way. But I just got a new Mazda3 and it does not work in it, the connection is too short. Just a heads up!

Yes, it is true that this product charges your iPhone 4 quickly; it functions as advertised. But once you insert the device into the cigarette lighter, it is exremely difficult to remove. Just today, it took me a solid 10 minutes sitting in my car, trying to pry the device out with my thumbnails, which were bleeding by the time the device was removed. You can decide for yourself, but I'd recommend going with a larger iPhone 4 car charging device because of the difficulty of removing this device once you use it. It works very well, but for me, the con of going through an ordeal to remove it isn't worth the pros of quick charging.

This is a nice product which does charge the iPad 2 correctly. However, the cigarette lighter adapter is rectangular and flat on top which means is that once you insert it in your cigarette lighter, it is difficult to remove.
