    Best!

I used to have ghost armor protection on the screen and the back but there would always remain stains and stuff. But this Anti-Glare film does not leave any residue on the screen. Although it might not protect the screen as the ghost armor one but I prefer cleanliness more. Must have!

    Good protection, ruins the display!!!

    • Written by from Borehamwood

The protector does prevent smudges and scratches, but it absolutely kills the retina display. It makes it all fuzzy and after seeing the retina display, your eyes will not like the look of this screen protector!!!

    I wouldn't bother if i were you

I brought this product 2 weeks ago from my local apple store even after i read all the good and bad reviews on here. But still, i thought i had to try it for my self and i was getting tired of the oily hand prints on my phone screen and i have to be honest with you, 10 seconds after i put it on (which was pretty simple and straight forward and i had no bubbles underneath neither), i completly regreted it and could see a dramtic decrease in the picture quality on my iphone 4 screen. It just took away the "retina display" benefits and it made the screen look blurry and unclear and it also made the screen appear darker. I did like how the screen protector look clean and non-greasy looking but that didn't outweigh the loss of retina display and just ordered the crystal film version of the power support screen protector and i got that today and replaced it on my phone and i'm really happy with it and would never buy the anti glare version again! The crystal version was also as easy to put on as the anti glare and the power support products are the best quality screen protectors for the iphone 3 and 4

    great product

I bought the matte/anti-glare and the crystal set for my iphone 4. Easy to apply and works great to protect the crystal screen.

    Feels nice.

    • Written by from Melbourne

Got this product from my local Apple store because it was the only one they were selling for the iPhone 4.
It feels great once applied, it does have a Matte finish, so it isn't shiny at all (anti-glare), but this does make the screen look dull. Even with 'Brightness' at 100%, the screen still somehow looks dull and adds the faintest blur to everything. But if its protecting my screen which it is, then im happy.

A must have for your iPhone 4

    • Written by from Hitchin

This is by far the best film for iPhone 4. Having come across quite a few that are either too sticky or simply aren't cut properly for the iPhone, it's nice that Power Support has got it right. The price is a higher than usual, but given that you get 2 films, there are none better and these don't wear out as fast as others, it's well worth it!

    Not as all I thought

    • Written by from Littlehampton

I got this to protect my front screen (like you do if you have a £600 phone) and I thought it be good with the HD screen film but in all IT ANT HD AT ALL it just a matt finish and it takes away the retina ALOT and it not all as good as it seems. So I advice you and many others not to buy this mis leading product!

SOOOOO expensive but SOOOOO worth it

    • Written by from SAN FRANCISCO

I started using this stuff when I got my first iPhone (a 3G) and I can't deny: it's done a great job of protecting my screen without getting in the way of touch-feel. As I keep a good case on my phone, I'm a pretty rough where I put it in my purse, and my phone's face would have been horribly scratched many times if not for this product, which with my aforesaid rough treatment lasts anywhere between 4-9 months before I get annoyed and want a pristine screen again. So one package lasts me about a year.

When I had to replace my 3G with a 4, picking this up was a no-brainer. It fits the 4's face well, is easy to apply if you take your time and are careful, and the anti-glare makes the display much easier to deal with. Does the retina display suffer? Well, a wee bit. And I DO notice those sorts of things, but for me, the readability & protection are worth a small and slight sacrifice.

They do a glossy too if that's your thing.

    No fingerprints

    • Written by from SAN DIEGO

I love this case because it is the most Retina compatible screen protector you will get. It also has a much nicer feel then the normal iPhone display in my opinion. Also, like my title states, it barely allows fingerprints on to to your screen, making this an overall great project.

Ruins the display, buy crystal instead

    • Written by from Fremont

One of the best features of the iPhone 4 is the retina display. The anti glare screen protector ruins it. The display becomes grainy and the colour changes a bit too. If you want a screen protector, go for the crystal one.

    try again.

    • Written by from Kapolei

it says "easy installation" but all I've had were problems. I have a customized skin on my phone, but it's paper thin so I didn't think I'd have trouble. but as I tried to install the film, there was air bubbles between where the screen ends and the bottom controls begin.
I really wanted it to work, but it just didn't for me.

If you're going to use a film, use this one

    • Written by from Chippendale

As much as I would prefer not to, eventually the coating on the iPhone screen will wear out and you'll spend more time wiping the screen of fingerprints than you will using it.
I always used Power Support film on my iPhone 3G. With the Retina Display being so amazing I didn't want to use any film at but it's become unavoidable. This film provides good clarity and doesn't detract too much from the display. It DOES have an impact, but it's tolerable and works well with the Apple Bumper, but make sure it settles in place first. Take plenty of time with the fitting, make sure your screen is clean and apply it in the bathroom after you've had a shower so it's nice and steamy (this inhibits dust in the air). Sounds weird I know but trust me, it works.

Not sticking as well as the 3G version

    • Written by from San Francisco

I was a very happy user of the Power Support Anti-Glare film for my old iPhone 3G. So when I got my iPhone 4, I purchased this film from the Apple Store along with my phone.

Unfortunately, this HD Anti-Glare screen is not adhering well to the phone's screen. I have some bubbles that haven't gone away after several days of trying to work them out. Fortunately they are around the edges of the phone and don't block the display portion of the screen. But still, I expected better from Power Support.

The good news is that I am happy with the display as seen through the film. Yes there is a slight loss of sharpness, but it is worth it to be fingerprint free. And it still looks way better than my old 3G screen.

Works well, but not 100% retina compatibale.

    • Written by from Pleasant Grove

I got this my iPhone after noticing a tiny scratch near the home screen. It worked well for my 2nd gen iPod touch I got a while back, so I went ahead and got this one as well.

It works as advertised, but the only thing it doesn't stand up to is the retina display compatibility. It's an improvement, I'll give it that, but not perfect yet. If you are super in-love with the retina display- just be extra careful not to scratch it. If you don't mind as much, get this. It will help with scratches and of course, the anti-glare.

    Best display worth purchasing

    • Written by from Markham

This is the best accessory I have purchased for my phone to date. I am a perfectionist and germophobe and I take my cleaning cloth and disinfectant wipes everywhere but since using the film I rarely need to wipe my screen I still disinfect daily but there are no smudges (thank goodness) and it is easy to clean. I am too thankful for this product, I rate it 5 shinning stars.

    not what I expected

    • Written by from Neston

When I got this in the Apple shop last week I asked if it was a matt, blurry finish and was told no! I'd pervious had anti glare films that were matt and fuzzy. Due to the iPhone 4 having Retina display I didn't want a blurry screen. Very disapointed!!!

Serves a purpose but has flaws

    • Written by from Forest Hills

Its good at making things less smudgy and basically gets rid of all glare issues HOWEVER it doesn't fit the screen entirely so i find that there is residue building up around the edge. And like others have said there is an impact on the brilliance of the screen.

    Compatible with retina display?

    • Written by from Keller

One of the improvements and advantages of the iphone 4 is the retina display which makes the device the only one of its kind. I used to apply the film set in my iphone 3G and the advantages were really convinient, however, by using this film set in the 4' version you will certainly lose all the benefits of the retina display since the resolution of the screen will become less sharper and darker as the one from the 3G model.

    Worsens display

    • Written by from Brookline

The protector has a nicer feel than the glass screen and successfully reduces glare and nearly eliminates fingerprints. However, it distorts the display, being particularly noticeable on white backgrounds, and makes reading smaller text more difficult. Given how good the resolution on the display is, this is a big enough problem to make the product not worth buying.
