Just wanting to ask, has anyone used the moshi palmguard in conjunction with the Incase Hardshell case? Does it work? Please let me know. Thanks!
I need to find out since i have the incase hardshell, and it would be a bummer if i bought the palm guard without it fitting on. :)

Best Answer
it will fit just fine. all of the palmrest protectors on the market are not thick enough to interfere with the application of a hardshell cover.

Does this palm protector fit the new MacBook Pro with Retina Display?
- Asked by Andrew W
- Jul 7, 2012
- Flag as inappropriate
Best Answer
No, it does not fit the new MacBook Pro with Retina Display. Instead of returning the item, I used a sharp pair of scissors and trimmed it down to size. It's not ideal, but it will protect the laptop until Moshi makes a palm guard specific to the 15" Macbook with Retina Display. The TrackGuard protector is also slightly (a few milimeters) smaller than the trackpad of the 15" Macbook Pro with Retina Display.

Will it hide dents? I have a small dent near the trackpad, will it just sink into it or cover it?
- Asked by Lucie S

Answer
I can't say for certain but I should imagine, with the nature of this product, that it will just sink into the dent as you press it down.

Does it have key text on it?
Are key names written the key cover?
- Asked by Raushan S from Las Vegas

Answer
This protector does not cover the keys in any way. It is only a cover for the area which your palms rest either side of the track pad. This product also includes a separate track pad protector.

Does the trackpad cover diminish the use of the tap to click feature?
- Asked by Matt P from Milford
- Apr 30, 2010
- Flag as inappropriate
Best Answer
Yes! After it is installed you will find that it is a bit of hit and miss! Sometimes when you tap it works other times it doesnt! So I just turn the tap to click feature off and press down! If you really like that feature then dont apply it!

Does the moshi palm guard color clear or white? I have a black macbook pro and would like to know if it will match the color, please let me know
- Asked by Milton M from Miami
- May 22, 2010

Answer
No, this one is coloured to match only the aluminum unibody notebooks. This means only the 2009 and 2010 MacBook Pro lineup, if I'm not mistaken. The colour is most certainly not black.

does it leave the surface of the aluminum sticky after you take it off/ and can you take it on and off easily?

Best Answer
Definitely not, it's quite fabulous really. I've had mine on continuously for about 10 months. I'm a grad student so my MacBook Pro palm area sees a lot more traffic than the average computer would. Needless to say, I recently wanted to replace it because it was looking a REALLY DIRTY (better the protector than the computer aluminum right?) and pulled it right off......no build up, no residue, no stickiness. The only con I can think of is that the actual pad doesn't completely fit to the edges so you're going to have to center it yourself. It also comes with a clear cover for the trackpad. This fits pretty true AND is great b/c it keeps the grease and grime and possible discoloration away. Mine is still on right now and I can actually see the main spot that my fingers rome in that's ultra shiny.....just think, that could be my actual trackpad instead of the covering. For such an expensive computer, it makes sense to use this item. Best investment for my MacBook Pro as of yet.
