AnswerNo No No, this adaptor and the one with a cable does not work. (30 Pin to Lightning adaptor) So fustrating that its a new stereo. I have tried both, Both do not work!!! Thumbs down Sony. Not good enough!!! I have the latest IPod Nano 7th generation that needs the Lightning adaptor.

Best AnswerH 1" x W 1" x D 1/4" (25.4 mm x 25.4mm x 6.3mm).

Sony clock radio with a docking station on the side. Only fits iphone 4s and lower. Will this adaptor work, and will it work with a case on the iphone 5. I have read comments that say it does not work with the case on the phone

AnswerIt works with the 30 pin adaptors that were intended from BMW. I used it on my 2011 3-series and had no issues. My only problem was having to take the case off of it (the adaptor is too wide for it ) everytime I wanted to listen to something frorm the phone.

Will this adapter still play my ipod nano's (7th Gen) music on a docking station alarm clock?
I just recently bought an iPod 7th Generation, but my alarm clock dock station (no known brand) has a dock that's too big for the small port. Will this adapter make it possible for the music to still be playable or is it just for charging purposes?

Onkyo nd-s1 and Cambridge id-10 compatibility
Does this adapter work with the Onkyo nd-s1 and cambridge id-10 docking stations? I assume not since I believe that they need a digital rather than analogue.
