My iPod Touch will not play video through my Sony Bravia TV

I have an iPod Touch (about a year and a half old) and I am trying to connect it to my Sony Bravia TV. I am using the Apple Component AV lead (red blue and green with red and white audio) and I have connected this to the "component in" in the back of the TV. I have then selected this in the menu. I have selected "TV Out, wide screen" on my Ipod and have selected the "PAL" output, although I have tried both options.

I get audio but no image. If I try using the Universal dock with an S Video lead will this work or am I missing something more fundamental (and obvious!) on the iPod or TV settings?

Can a newer Nano connect its audio output to a local source input via RCA jacks? I don't care about the video stream just the audio.

The local source is a BOSE input that works thru a SA3 amp. I think all I need is to plugin RCA cables from the base (Nano) unit to the RCA wall plate. What type of cables does apple offer to convert from 3.5mm to RCA?

what cable do I use to connect my ipod touch to my video eyewear

I bought my daughter vision eyewear glasses that have a 50" video screen to watch movies. What cable would I need to connect the eyewear glasses to my ipod touch to be able to view movies on my 50" eyewear glasses?

I was told to purcase an AV cable that would connect the 2, but I do not have any idea which cable they are talking about. this is a christmas gift, so I want to order this cable asap.

Will standard RCA cables plug into the back of the dock to connect to a TV? Or do I need to by the apple cable?

when I connect my Iphone 3GS 32GB to my dock, then it says the the accessory is not compatible with iphone. Does anyone know why?

When I connect the iphone, a message pops up saying that it is not compatible with iphone. I can connect the phone to the computer and to power via the dock, but the audio output and remote does not work anymore....

It used to work, but suddenly it stopped :(
Does anyone know what I can do???

If I get apple universal dock, USB power adaptor & mini stereo cable, would that work to attach my ipod touch to my Bose Wave to charge & play?

I want to hook my ipod touch up to play through my Bose Wave radio/CD and charge at the same time. The reviews on the Bose system to play and charge the ipod aren't very good and the electrical hookup (which is very large) seems to be the biggest complaint.

I wondered if I could do the same thing much more compactly by buying the ipod universal dock, hooking it electrically through the USB power adapter so it would charge and adding the mini cable to connect and give the sound through the Wave.

Anyone know? I'm computer saavy, but electrically challenged!

I'm currently using yamaha's own ipod doc,also plays video! Wish I had a remote will your doc + remote connect to my yamaha?
