Are you able to stop/pause songs and use the mic for handsfree on the 3G iPhone?
- Asked by CP from Calgary

- Flag as inappropriate
Best Answer
Yes you can, when a call comes in it will automatically pause your music and allow you to press the middle grey button on the remote to answer the call, this will then activate the mic and allow you to take the call, once the call has ended, or you disconnect from the call your music will start playing where it left off, It's great! You can also pause your music at anytime by pressing the middle grey button on the remote. Hope this helped :)

Are these good for running?
Often in ear headphones fall out of your ears while running, or can get damaged by sweat over time. Is this an issue with these earphones?

Best Answer
If they fall out, use the larger set of earbuds, this will make them fit tighter in your ears, and they won't fall out.
I don't see how sweat would damage earphones, I don't usually sweat on my ears, I even use the standard iPod headphones when I run at the gym and they've never been damaged or fallen out (apart from the rubber rim ripping off due to bad materials :l )
They are very good, just get a pair and enjoy!- Answered by JK from LYTHAM ST. ANNES

Can I use this on the iPhone 3G and skip music forward as well as backward?
The headphone that comes with the iPhone 3G can only skip music forward by pressing the mic twice in succession. Even then this capability disappears after a couple of months'usage. I want to know if I can skip forward to the next song and also to skip backward to replay the song that just ended?

Does the fact that these are "in-ear" allow mean to reduce the volume of the music as other sounds are blocked out?
I'm concerned about hearing impairment. I'd love to wear my iPod when vacuuming or mowing the lawn, but I have to blast the volume to high too overcome the outside noise.

They do sound louder than the standard earphones as ambient sounds are partly blocked by the supplied eartips. The sound quality is also far superior.

Best Answer
It is compatible with the iPhone 3G as in you can listen to music, use the microphone for calls and the button stop and skip tracks. The only feature that isn't compatible with the iPhone 3G is the volume controls, for that you will need to do that directly on your iPhone 3G.

How is the Bass? When you turn the music up dose it destort with high bass songs?
For example if you are listening to a song with alot of Bass dose the Sound quality decrease?
- Asked by VC from Louisville

Best Answer
It depends on the input you're using really. If you're going to turn an iPod up all the way, then yes they will probably distort as iPods don't send the best quality to begin with. But you'll encounter this problem with any earbuds. However, it should be minimal, as these headphones have an abnormally deep frequency range (down to 5hz, deeper than most headphones) and a dedicated woofer within each earpiece; they are truly built for bass performance, you just have to use them correctly. I personally use these headphones in combination with two seperate equalizers and an upscaler (using Creative's X-Fi sound cards) on my laptop. If you want to take the painstaking task of properly customizing an equalizer to each song and customize some other audio settings, then I can atest these headphones can go up to full volume (to the point I can sit them on the table and hear the song from across the room) and won't distort nor have a decrease in sound quality.
