- Asked about: iPhone
AnswerIt depends if you want to be able to surf the internet on 3G and call.
If you only want to be able to watch movies, listen to music and surf the internet while on Wi-FI, the Ipod Touch is for you (Ipod Touch is also cheaper).- Answered by Nökkvi B from Kopavogur

You can use FaceTime to place video calls to people who own Apple devices that also support it (using a Wifi/VPN internet connection) . But from a iPod point of view: There is no built In support for Phone Networking for the iPod Touch.
However, there are alternatives to this. There are apps on the app store that allow calls and SMS messages to be sent over the internet. So far my favorites are Skype (that requires you to pay to call anyone), and TextPlus (which is a freebie). There are ways to call usng the iPod, but direct phone line calling is not supported by the iPod Touch.
I Hope that helps.- Answered by Ronald B from Brantford

- Asked about: UP by Jawbone
Best AnswerThe jawbone UP is water resistant, not water proof. It is not recommended that you take your wristband swimming. However, it is designed to resist everyday water exposure such as the shower, washing the dishes and rain.

A lot, it,can give you directions, it can find answers to random questions via Internet, and when you're board you can have her tell you jokes. Also it is fun to attempt to confuse her by having her find the weirdest stuff (it's harder than you'd think). It's cool, but not worth getting a phone or iPod just for Siri

AnswerI use this adapter with the I-Home AlarmClock/Radio dock and it works great. One your device is connected it will prompt you to download a free app from store onto your device. I use mine with i-pod 5th generation.

Can Apple TV be used as a wireless router?
Apple TV
- Asked by Beth S from Wabasha
- May 18, 2013

- Asked about: Apple TV
AnswerNo, the Apple TV cannot be used as a wireless wouter. You need to have a primary wireless router (Airport Extreme, Time Capsule, Airport Express, Linksys, D-Link, etc.) that the Apple TV can wirelessly connect to for Internet access.
I have a Time Capsule (the primary wireless router) plus two Apple TVs and an Airport Express. To correct the previous commenter, the Airport Express has LIMITED AirPlay functionality. Using iTunes on a Mac, iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch, you can redirect the AUDIO stream to an Airport Express. However, to redirect an audio/video stream, you NEED an Apple TV; the Airport Express has no video connectivity (e.g. HDMI) whatsoever.- Answered by Julian B from Baie-d'urfe

Is there anyway to connect a lightning connector to a 30 pin connector? I just bought an iPod dock & my 4th generation iPod touch isn't compatible.
My friend just bought a brand new iPod dock to replace my other one that they broke. She bought is a newer version of the one that broke; the only problem is, is that when checking to see if my new purchase had all of the qualities I wanted it to, she failed to see if it was compatible with my current iPod (4th generation iPod touch). My iPod is rather new and I'd really rather not have to go and buy a new one to fit my new dock. I am hoping there is an adapter or some sort of accessory I can purchase to help solve this problem without needing to send the dock back or purchase a new iPod.
