The bose soundock won't charge a 2nd generation ipod touch???

    Any sounddock you buy now will charge all dockable iPods/ iPhones. The one exception to this is in some outlets where you can purchase a 'V1' original that will only charge using the firewire pin (in the docking connection) and this is what prevents charging on the newer iPod nanos, toch and 3g/3gs iPhone(now using the usb pin).

  • it seems that our xmas sounddock plays and charges the nano exceptionally. however the even newer ipod touch wont charge or play if it is not sitting forward enough on the dock system. bummer since we just spent a small fortune on both of these. our friends iphone also wont sit on the dock system without our finger supporting it. not good enough bose! since its made specifically for ipods....mmm
