If i buy the smart cover is the back of my iPad still unprotected?

  • Yes, Although apple does make a "Smart Case" which preforms the same way as the smart cover, but covers the entire device (Except the ports / Camera obviously)

  • No, unfortunately the smart COVER does not protect the back of your iPad. But you can buy a smart case that does the same job but protects both sides of your iPad.
