Do I need to buy additional cables to connect Dock to a Bose Lifestyle stereo system?

The Universal Dock page states that you can "Display photos or video on a TV or other video device using a Component AV Cable or Composite AV Cable if you have an iPod that plays video." This is not correct. You must have the *Apple* Component AV Cable or *Apple* Composite AV Cable. Any old composite or component AV cable you may have lying around the garage will NOT work with the Universal Dock. Make sure you order the Apple cables. Hopefully, Apple will correct the description on the Universal Dock page soon.

Sadly, this device comes with no cable, no power adapter!

The best way to connect this to your Bose Lifestyle would be to use Apple's Component cable to connect to the VS-2 panel, or to the media center if you have a Bose V-Class system. If you have an older Lifestyle system then you will only need to get the composite connect kit and plug is straight into your media center.
