What is the battery model number for MacBook Black? I bought my macbook in february 2007. Anybody can tell me the model number? I need to replace.
I have seen a model number on the battery. Is there anything else that i need to know before replacing my battery. Please help.

The model number shown will be enough for any Apple Store sales person to understand your requirements. In terms of long term usage and safety, it's advisable to use genuine batteries for a MacBook. Model No. A1185 may be one of the options for black MacBook.
