How many times can this battery be fully recharged?

I'm on cycle number 711 and its still at 90% health, reading the reviews I've been pretty lucky, but I would estimate that 400-500 charge cycles is about when most people start noticing a decrease in performance

I bought my 1st generation Macbook in July of 2006 and now in October of 2009 it refuses to charge. The battery says the cycle count is 420. I don't know whether this is a long or short lifespan.
