Can I use the mini Dvi to VGA to connect to my VGA to RCA component adapter to input into my TV? (do not have VGA, HDMI input on TV)
TV is a 36" Sony WEGA trinitron. (with the 16:9 screen choice option)

You *could* however it would be better to use the Mini DVI to DVI connector on input 7 on the back of the tv. It works *ok* it's a square tube you're not going toget the great resolution a true 16x9 would give... checkout some of then newer sub 1000's in that size range.
