I was so impressed with these in black that I had to post my review for the white ones. I got a pair for my wife in the White and she thought the same things as me.
The headset is great. We found it much better then the Apple in Ears and with the issues that we had with the v-moda's. . . I don't even want to talk about them; this review is for the MM50 iP.
The sound clarity is great, I love the short cable on one side allowing the headset to be worn BEHIND THE NECK (I mention this because of all the reviews of people not knowing how to wear the headset). The mic is very clear, and when we ask people what they think I am speaking on, they have no idea that I am using a headset.
When using the headset when it is windy, of course it is going to pick up wind noise, but in my car, in my house, in my office, etc, it works fine. Seriously, do people expect a mic that is omni directional not to pickup some wind?
I have no issues controlling my iPhone, as I mentioned I bough one pair in black for me, one in white for my wife, and I would do it again.
The two year warranty is also very comforting reminding me that Sennheiser stands behind their products.
Enough said, buy it, you'll love it. Definitely received great quality for the price.

Sennheiser makes some of the best sounding headphones, these however, are not it. Two major problems. First, the microphonics. Every move you make is audible via the headphones which is a very odd feeling considering the acoustic isolation. this makes them useless for exercising or even walking - one has to sit still.
Second, the sound quality. Small, ear-bud style headphones usually lack bass, again not the case here. Bass is so overemphasized that it renders the rest of the spectrum muddy and dull, lacking clarity. I purchased a set of these in Feb 2009 as a replacement for the V-moda set that broke. At the time I swore up and down that V-moda was the best ever but after using the MM-50's I became a huge fan unknowingly. They stay in my ears better when running. In fact, they rarely fell out. I like that the mm-50's didnt shock my ears like the V-moda's used to.
The best part is that the quality of the headphones seems way better than anything I have ever used. These lasted me 7 months with rigorous daily use. V-moda's had a shelf life of about 30 days before I had to send them in for warranty replacement.

Yes, they do have a mic. But it is very poor...far less sensitive than the basic Apple headset that comes bundled with your phone, and way inferior (though happily smaller) than the mic on a Bang and Olufsen headset. I've owned both.
I have had so many people complain that they can't hear me during a phone call on the Sennheiser headset that I only use them for listening to music now. Which, of course, is a major short coming since phone calls are what the mic on a headset are all about, right? …More- Answered by DW from LAHAINA
