best money i've ever spent

after endlessly searching for an ipod stereo worthy of my money, i found this. i tried out the sound for each of the stereos and this was THE best. its incredible that such a little device can project such great sound. i've had it since christmas and it's still working great. i use it everywhere, and it even comes with a case to put it in when you travel. the only slight glitch i found is that the stereo has to be plugged into the wall charging for it to also charge the ipod. other than that its portable and simply put fantastic …More

Great gizmo

I originally bought my speakers for an ipod touch and even though the remote control has a hard time with the touch, the sound is simply stellar!
Then I got my iPhone 3G and starting getting nervous when I saw that most of my accessories don't work with it very well (no charging). But SURPRISE, the Logitech Speakers both CHARGE and PLAY SOUND !!! I'm amazed! (And happy.) …More437 of 494 people found this useful

Great sounding speakers with an ipod touch. Amazing given the size
Have to use the white (!!??) dock that comes with the Touch. Bought mine locally on sale for $99CAN. Also use it through through an airport express.
No problems so far except using the remote jumps two tracks - weird. Still just as easy to change tracks with the 'pod. …More367 of 455 people found this useful

Doesn't work with 3.0 update?
Written by MI from London
Jun 28, 2009
Great speakers. Good sound, build quality. And before I updated to 3.0 software on my iPhone 3G it was perfect. Now, since the update, the phone is now no longer compatible, which is quite frankly, unacceptable.
Only buy these speakers if you have an old iphone that you haven't updated.

waste of money

About to return my second set of these speakers, having already returned the first after they simply stopped working after a few weeks. I found docking my iPod Touch fiddly, even with the adapter, and the auto shut off quickly developed a mind of it's own and would turn off after only a couple of minutes sometimes. Thought maybe the first set had a faulty connector, but the second set have done exactly the same thing. I dock my iPod, and nothing happens. Not recommended. …More

Shuts off no matter what you do
Written by CP from West Newbury
Jun 1, 2009
It looks great and sounds sharp--until it stops sounding at all. The auto shut-off function grew increasingly indifferent to audio signal since I bought it, and now will shut off after 2 minutes even when the iPod volume is at maximum. Now it is past warranty and completely useless, though rather attractive, junk. …More

When i purchased my iPod Touch i also tried out the Logitech Pure-fi anywhere 2 instore with and without the power adaptor and found it only recharged the iPod with the adaptor as well as the speakers. It doesn't look as though you can. I was reading iLounge's review of these speakers dated 30 June 2008 and they said that someone had raised the point that
"the unit’s lack of a user-replaceable battery could limit its longevity to however long the supplied 10-hour rechargeable battery would last. However, in that case, Logitech noted that its post-warranty period policy is to supply a complete replacement at half the original unit’s MSRP. Since the warranty on Pure-Fi Anywhere 2 lasts for two years, which is longer than Apple’s warranty on iPods or iPhones, you’ll be safe for a reasonable period of time."
I tried to post a link but it said I had posted inappropriate text and wouldn't let me continue! …More- Answered by SP from NORTHAMPTON
