Disappointing
I got the iPhone 5 4 months ago and this cable that I received with my phone doesn't work anymore. The cable I had with my iPhone 4, I had for 2 years with no problems at all. So I find it very strange that the lighting cord can stop working so easily. Even the cord for my first generation iPod touch which is 6 years old and it still works. Now I have to go buy another cord and spend more money to keep using my phone. I hope the issue gets fixed soon because I don't want to keep buying new lighting cords every 4 months. …

IPhone 5 charger
To whom it may concern: please do not automatically assume those of us upset about the cheap-made charger that we are pulling the plug from the phone by pulling on the cable...NOT true! I am always very careful to remove plug by grasping the plug, this has not prevented the charger from failing. Now, I can only put the plug in one way to get it to work, AND..it's often have to rub on the contacts to get it to work AT ALL!!! Extremely dissatisfied with the product. APPLE.....PLEASE CHANGE THE DESIGN AND GIVE CURRENT OWNERS A SUPPLY OF THESE CABLES...or, make them cheaper for us to buy! …
