  Great protection around the edges of the iphone, while leaving both the front and back completely uncovered. While this may seem p ointless, 90% of the times you drop your phone it will land on one of the corners or the edges, so i wouldn't worry about the glass shattering, especially since the bumper has raised edges so the glass of your phone isn't touching the surface that your iphone is placed on.   I had the bumper for 3 months and I was really happy with it (it looked good, it protected my phone, didn't make the phone too bul ky), but when I dropped my phone on something that wasn't a perfectly flat surface it completely shattered.
