Best activity tracker I've tried
This tracker is very easy to use and the interface with ios7 is crisp and well designed. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars This tracker is very easy to use and the interface with ios7 is crisp and well designed. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the bracelet has a very limited life span: it doesn't stand up to even the minimal wear and tear of gently removing the tracking element every few days for recharge, and I can see that I will need to replace my bracelet after only a couple of months. The tracker and charging cable are still fine and this isn't a major drawback as the replacement bracelets aren't that expensive, but they also aren't available everywhere. …

Lots of functionality
I had the Zip, but it just didn't generate enough information. The Flex has a great online app and links to a variety of apps, i.e I had the Zip, but it just didn't generate enough information. The Flex has a great online app and links to a variety of apps, i.e. MapMyRide.
The wrist band takes a bit to get used to and locking the clap can be a challenge until the holes in the band loosen up a bit.
One thing it doesn't do is track cycling. I remove it a put it in one of pockets but it doesn't quite do the job of recording the miles or steps. It also doesn't do steps.
It's worth the money if you are looking to get a handle on your level of activity. …

On a typical morning (getting out of bed, making breakfast and getting ready for work) it would say I had already burnt upwards of 1200 calories. I burn half this amount in an intense workout! Also, after only 4 months of use I woke up to find the wrist strap had snapped in my sleep. The larger strap it came with was far too big for my wrist to use. …

Functional and reliable

Does exactly what I expected. Easy sync with iPad, iphone and PC, and also connects to My Fitness Pal and other apps for a pretty good reflection of the 'big picture'. A few initial problems (due to my non-tech savvy nature), but all were quickly responded to and solved. Would give 5 stars, but have been waiting forever for the accessory pack with extra band colours to be released in Australia... I'd just like to wear something other than black occasionally! …
