Best backpack I've ever owned

Even with a laptop and iPad and all my items in the front GridIt pocket, it remains thin, easy to carry, and easy to find my stuff. The exterior material adequately protects the insides from the elements, and the back padding + straps are very comfortable.
Highly recommended. …

Good design, but not durable
I bought this backpack from the Apple Store in Palo Alto, CA in June of 2014. Within 2 months, and with very little use, the seams I bought this backpack from the Apple Store in Palo Alto, CA in June of 2014. Within 2 months, and with very little use, the seams have started to come apart around the outer pocket. I love the bag and the grid organization is both useful and easy, but I had hoped for a better longevity would come with the $80 price tag. The limited warranty also requires the customer to pay for shipping & handling for the replacement/fixing of the bag, which is disappointing considering it means paying extra to get a defective product fixed. …

Cool Product but very fragile
From the review i've read before i bought this bag, i knew the zipper were the weak point of this bag, so i decided i would be car From the review i've read before i bought this bag, i knew the zipper were the weak point of this bag, so i decided i would be careful and wouldn't load the front pocket too much.
But even like this, one of the front zipper broke in the first 16 hours of use! I had time to open the front pocket once or twice, put my stuff inside, go to work, tried to open it back to get something, and the zipper broke. It should have been the 5 or 6th it was used! what kind of quality control is that? The zipper was bent and would not work anymore. Actually i'm happy this happened so quick, so i could asked for a refund immediately.
This is a really cool bag otherwise, fantastic to organize and make sure you only take the strict necessary stuff with you (forget anything more bulky than a mouse). The zip are "waterproof", the linen inside the bag are soft and protect your gizmo.
But quality is poor, and you're likely to have a broken product very quickly. At this price, this is inexcusable.
You have been warned... …

Great idea, poor durability
This is certainly one of the slimmest backpacks on the market and I love the organizer in the front pouch. I travel routinely for This is certainly one of the slimmest backpacks on the market and I love the organizer in the front pouch. I travel routinely for business and found this bag perfect for holding laptop, iPad, phone, charging accessories, passport, and a few miscellaneous tools.
Unfortunately the stitching quality, specifically of the straps, is poor and I have had the strap stitches fail on two bags which is why this pack only gets a 2 star rating. The first failed on the second day I owned the bag and was replaced by the apple store (thanks!). The second failed after approximately 4 months of daily use. I will not be asking for another replacement as I'd prefer not to risk another bag failing while on the road. Bottom line the bag is great for light use but they need to improve the integrity of the straps by adding a bar tack or hot bar seal to the strap end before stitching it into the bag to keep the strap end from fraying and pulling through the stitching after prolonged use. …
