    Brilliant.......

This is a fantastic product as an add on to an iPad. The iPad is held brilliantly with no chance of it falling out and there's access to all ports etc. The strap is long enough for our car (a Honda Jazz 2012). A true must have if you use you're iPad in the back of a car More

    Perfect for stringing between headrests

    • Written by from Whitmore Lake

Besides the intended design, which works perfectly as advertised, I have 2 kids and placing the iPad behind one headrest makes it difficult for other kids in the backseat to see it. Instead, use a shoe lace and string it through the top of this CinemaSeat. Then, tie each end of the shoe lace to opposite head rests. Result? It now hangs in the middle of the two front seats and everyone in the backseat can see it! Works perfectly!!! The iPad can still be easily removed in either position. More

    Easy to install, secure fit

I was looking for something that was easy to remove and that didn't tell the world that I travelled with my iPad while my car was parked at the mall. With it's velcro/buckle strapping system, this case is quick to install and fits very securely. All of the cut outs match perfectly with the new iPad. If you have a passenger sitting in the seat which you've mounted the iPad, you should consider getting an audio cable and connecting that to your vehicle's auxiliary input. Match this up with the CineXPlayer app, and you are ready for hours of travel. More

  • Will the iPad 2 fall out of the case?

    Answer

Since this is designed to mount the iPad horizontally on the back of a headrest, the opening is technically on the side. Since most vehicles that can corner with 1G+ lateral force don't have a backseat, you shouldn't have any issue with the iPad coming out while the kids are watching Dora. More

No....not really. If you stuffed like a turkey, it might go in but it looks pretty bad. My son purchased the Griffin Cinema Seat holder in July and asked if I can help him installed the holder in our Honda Pilot behind the driver seat. He purchased the holder for an Ipad2.

Here's my opinion on the holder:

    A) It was really designed to fit the Ipad only....although if you try hard you might be able to shove the smart cover in also, but it looks like an over stuffed turkey on Thanksgiving Day.

    B) The strap for the holder really don't have much of an adjustment (it uses Velcro). The problem with our vehicle (2006 Honda Pilot) is that the headrest (driver and passenger side) is not removable (although there is a very small gap between the headrest and the backrest) and therefore, the strap is not long enough to properly secure the holder. I have to modify the strap with a plastic locking buckle.....too much work to be worth it. BTW, even with the small gap between the headrest and backrest, the strap was still not enough to properly secure the holder.,
