No added storage or shoulder straps or any of that jazz - it's a straight up clean cut case perfect for the MacBook Air.

I use a larger bag to hold both the MBA, my iPad (stored in an InCase sleeve), cables and some notebooks. It does the job of keeping my MBA free of scratches and dents.

The one downside of this sleeve is the elastic band -- initially it didn't even seem necessary due to the tightness of the sleeve itself. Now that it's been broken in, I'm now worrying if the elastic band will survive. For how I use it, it won't be a problem if the band does eventually break, but if you are depending on that band holding in your laptop, you may want check out other sleeves (if and when they are available).

the salesgirl at the apple store pointed to this one as the top selling sleeve in their store, with the incase sleeve being number two, and that clinched it...

one thing that people might not have thought about though (which is why i'm posting), is to be aware that there is not enough space to leave one of those tiny USB mouse receivers plugged in full time...i do CAD, so i still carry a mouse sometimes, and had gotten accustomed to never thinking about plugging/unplugging the receiver and stashing it back inside the mouse...with this case, i'll have to do so...i don't see it being a major annoyance, but wanted to give a heads up to anyone for whom this might be an issue...
