    not afraid to sweat anymore!

    • Written by from Camp Hill

for those of you who have killed a pair or two of the standard iphone headphones (with mic and remote) while trying to get in a good workout - you've found the answer.

these headphones work perfectly and sound incredible. i've never owned a pair of behind-the-neck style headphones, but i'm glad these were my first. i really like being able to take them off and drop them on my neck (when speaking to someone). they're just as easy to put back on as well. the single cable makes things much more tidy and the remote/mic housing is well-positioned and easy to use (the rubberized buttons make it obvious what you're trying to control).

they wonderfully reproduce highs and lows - i've tried everything from System of a Down to Pink to Dr.Dre to Hoots and Hellmouth (to name a few) and they all sound great.

don't think twice about these headphones to replace your non-sweat-friendly stock ones.

Just what I was looking for

    • Written by from Lake in the Hills

I have used in-ear earbuds before, and always liked the sound, but disliked the poor comfort after about 30 minutes, and the whole earwax buildup thing. I also used a standard headband-style. The kind that covered my ears always made me too hot, and the kind that went partially into my ear opening felt better, but I couldn't find any with an inline mic/iPod controller (and I didn't want one of those add-on mic/iPod controllers because they end up being down by the iPhone, and not near my mouth where the mic should be, plus it adds 2 connectors that will degrade the sound and end up crackling with static after a short time)...

Until these! I like the behind-the-head style band that keeps just the right amount of pressure. They sound real good for not being an in-ear earbud style. The price isn't bad either. I tried these first in the Apple store before I left, and they fit and sounded wonderful. I even tried a phone call, and it worked great. The only thing I dislike is the neon green color cord and accents on the headset. However, they do provide black foam covers for the earpieces, so the only part that stands out is the cord, a small sacrifice.

Now, I am just hoping they last a long time. I have heard good things about Sennheiser's warranty/service, but I don't want to have to use it ;-)

    Positive review

I used it for the first time yesterday and it worked great! They stayed put while I was running and the sound was of good quality. I loved having the control button to answer calls and adjust music. I was a little worried about spending the amount $$ but I think it was worth it. So far so good! More

    Great for running

The sound is just great. Buttons on the remote are easy to handle.

The headphones fits perfectly - they simply stays in your ears and on your head no matter how you twist and turn while you run. More

    Stays in place!

    • Written by from Newmarket

I have tried dozens of earphones and they just don't work for me when I'm working out, whether it be using weights or running. They tend to just slip out all the time. I gave these headphones a try and they were great. Never had to readjust them when I run. Sound quality is average, but just the fact that I don't have to fiddle with them when I run is a big bonus. best headphones for working out

    • Written by from Sammamish

I have a pile of headphones that don't work well for working out. The ones that don't work fall out of my ears or the sweat messes them up or they don't sound good. These Sennheisers, however, are by far the best and well worth the price to me. They sound good, stay in my ears, work well while sweating, and the microphone is great if you need to talk on the phone. I don't use the remote control on it, but it's there if you need it to adjust the volume. Also, I typically use these headphones instead of bluetooth when talking on the phone or skype at home or work and people always hear me well. More

I have found these are far better than Apple's headphones, mostly due to better bass response. The Apple headphones sound quite tinny to me now. More

  • Will these fit under a bicycling helmet?

    • Asked by Robert F from Santa Rosa
    • Feb 14, 2011
    Answer

I use these when riding - they fit in below the rim of most cycling helmets I've tried. The trickiest part is figuring out whether you're more comfortable with the headphones under or over the straps.

They even have a small reflective patch on the back!
