Reviews for iPad Smart Case - Polyurethane - Blue

I bought this case and the first time I dropped my iPad from less than two feet the corner of my ipad chipped off and the case is damaged!!!

I have been using the Smart Cover for the past year. I recently upgraded to the Smart Case in dark gray and it was well worth it. It fits great and everything like the power swithch, charging cord, etc. works just as it should. Now I just wish Apple would carry one for my wife's iPad Mini.

-Very beautiful and attractive colours.
-Great texture and feel.

Not flexible
-The stand position is too upright, not stable and topples on slight touches, manageable for movies though.
-Typing position is too flat except you are properly seated. Not great when lying on the sofa or in bed.
-Cover is extremely thin and thereby difficult to quickly open.
-Material gets dirty easily.

Wondering why I bought it?
Two things!
-I wanted the Apple brand and it's from Apple with the attractive bitten Apple logo
-It's more attractive than the other brands I saw but less flexible

I believe Apple can improve this design! There are many brands making more flexible, smarter and adaptive cases.

Not a perfect fit. Device kept sliding around in it. And sometimes it pushed my USB out.
It doesn't seem like an issue at first, but the longer you have the ipad in your hand the more frustrated you end up. I returned it.

Looks good and protects edges and all four corners from damage.
However, when the cover is folded back, the hinged edge pulls away from
the edge of the iPad. I doubt that it will pop out, but it is annoying. The edges of the case are too sharp for me to hold it comfortably for a long time, such as while reading an ebook. I have tried scooting it around and reinstalling it, but to no avail. I wish I had bought the regular cover. This is a disappointment.

I have a smart case mini and it is constantly falling off the device if I use the stand to hold it.
The magnet is not strong enough. I like the slimness and being light of the smart case but it would better if the case covered the whole device to insure its ability to stay on.

Love this case sooooo much I got it for Christmas and love it! Please purchase this product as apple has put a lot of effort making and thinking of the design.

I have had this case about three weeks, and have noticed a small crack in the outside layer near the hinge. This appears to be a defect in the case. It is in a place that would not be exposed when the case is open and the iPad is in use. When I am not using the iPad, it has been just lying on a table. I have never taken it out of the house, so there is no possibility of damage from being carried in a purse or backpack.

I don't live near a retail Apple Store, and the case is listed as not eligible for return when I checked my account at the online Apple Store.

I really like this case. Love the colour and versatility of it.

Please please Apple give me a inboard version of this for business use.

the ipad smart cover is what ive wanted for ages it protects the back and the front
