Hi there. My wife and I both want to browse and play content using Apple TV. Can we both use our own ID's together to do so? Grateful for any other tips with multiple users... Cheers.

AnswerThe Sky Go App is blocked from streaming to a TV. You can get the audio but only the SkyGo logo is displayed on screen. Sky build this into the App to avoid losing revenue from their multi-room package, so I'm told.

AnswerIf you have Mountain Lion, AirPlay will let you mirror your computer screen to your apple TV and thus your TV.

AnswerIt depends what service you are using.
iTunes - yes,
Netflix yes, but it's built into Apple TV anyway.
LoveFilm no, only sends audio no picture probably due to software restrictions.
SkyGo - no, due to software restrictions.
BBC iPlayer - no, not supported.
Blinkbox - no, not supported.

Yes you can if you enable air play mirroring first and then try and run your SKY GO app. sometimes I have seen this not work

Yes it just needs an Internet connection, make sure you setup your network for DHCP so it gets IP address information automatically.

Best AnswerHey Michael, you can only connect one iOS device or Macbook using AirPlay. But, switching between the devices using AirPlay is very simple; just select the icon, via iTunes, or the toolbar at the top of your screen on a Mac, or by double clicking the home button on your iOS device, swipe to the left and select the AirPlay button. You can then choose to mirror your display, or just use it for videos.
