Will Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac run on OS X?

I have a lot of documents and especially email (in Entourage) in Microsoft Office 2004 for Mac and need to know if it will run on OS X before I upgrade my OS

    If you are running MS Office 2004, you are also running some version of OS X.
    Your Office 2004 will run on OS X 10.4 untill OS X 10.6.8, the latter being the latest version of Snow Leopard.
    If you want to upgrade to OS x 10.7.x, called Lion, your Office 2004 won't work any longer.

  • You will need to upgrade your office package as it is no longer supported by OS X 10.7
