What cable do you use for running a powerpoint from the MacBook Air

I do presentations from my laptop and would like to use the Macbook Air. How do I do this? How do I connect to a projector?

    I would use the Mini DisplayPort to VGA connection and than use the VGA cable that comes with the projector.

    (I can't link to the apple store, but if you search, you will find it.)
