All I am running is music and productivity products, which Mac would be best for me?

The Mac pro if budget allows. It's the only product I see in real studios that the engineers never mention lag, CPU overload, and etc. I'm wanting one myself but they are pricey. The next consideration for me would be a quad core iMac with at least a 2.7 ghz CPU. Once you get your collection of rtas plugins and start applying them you will need the CPU because most production softwares including pt are only 32 bit apps which means they will not see anymore than three or four gigs of ram.
