No. Any Apple Retail Store or AppleCare technical support will be able to pull up the purchase date of your device just by using your device's serial number. However, if you purchased the device from a 3rd party retailer (anywhere other than an Apple Store), then keep your receipt in case they need to verify the purchase date.
