Can you grant password protected internet access without allowing individuals access to back up files?
I’m considering using one of these to replace my current wireless router. I was wondering if I could use the Time Capsule to grant password protected internet access to the other PC’s and Mac’s in my household, whilst preventing them from accessing the backed up information stored in the Time Capsule. I like the idea of backing things up wirelessly with such ease, I don’t like the idea of my housemates being able to rummage through all my files!

Answer
Yes, with the new Time Capsule, you can create a guest network. Users of this network can use the internet, but not access the Hard Disk (thus backups).
