Maybe a bit pricey, but worth it for the organisation!

    • Written by from Basingstoke

I bought the medium organiser using a voucher, and given the price, I may not have bothered if I had had to pay for it myself as it is quite expensive, however now that I have the product I can't imagine having anything else! Brilliantly useful to avoid cables, adaptors and other accessories rolling around in the bottom of bags and getting damaged, and it doesn't really add any extra weight at all. I was a little worried before I received it that it wouldn't be big enough for all of my things, but I can comfortably fit my mag-safe adaptor + plug attachment, extension cable, USB extension lead for my keyboard, mouse (Logitech wireless), and a couple of pens with some space to spare. The straps are also really secure so nothing ever falls out of them. Definitely recommend for anyone who uses a backpack or other large bag and wants something to keep cables organised!

The Best Thing To Happen To Organization, Ever.

    • Written by from Georgetown

Incredible simple and lightweight design and flawlessly executed. Carried everything I have from incredibly thin CF cards to bulky laptop chargers and keeps them from becoming a tangled mess in the bottom of my bags. I just purchased this yesterday and already don't know how I functioned without it. I'm going to purchase another small one to keep in my purse! Incredible!

    Awesome for school!

    • Written by from Clarence Center

I bought one when I picked up my new 13" retina pro last year for high school and it's so useful and helps keep my stuff organized! Since we also have school-issued iPads that we keep when we graduate, it also helps keep my cords and adapters organized and free from tangling. I wish I got the large over the medium but it still works great!

    Cocoon GRID-IT

    • Written by from Kailua-Kona

Compact, great organizer for all those cables and misc. items that you can never find when you need them in a hurry. The varied sizes of the strapping allow accommodation for different sizes, whether it be an iPhone, pen or chargers and cables. Very useful product and tucks neatly into a briefcase, carry-on, or suitcase. And you don't have to unravel a mess. Everything is secure and visible and immediately available. I highly recommend the Cocoon.

    Most useful organiser yet.

    • Written by from Steynton

Before buying this, I used to have my items piled up in my laptop bag; my headphones, cables and other items would be either tangled or difficult to take out of the bag. Since then, I decided to buy this organiser. Now there is no more hassle, I can just simply fit it under a strap (which has a rubberised texture) and know it won't fall out. Also, I have the medium size, which is perfect for travelling and for my study, after all, it fits perfectly in my laptop bag (which is for 13" screens).

    Well Made & Incredibly Useful!

Do not listen to the naysayers on this one. I almost didn't buy this because of them, but am so happy that I didn't listen and bought it! It is a great contraption for holding your stuff and keeping it organized. Also great, because you can just slide it in and out of your bag without stuff falling off. The straps really hold the stuff on, but it is NOT hard to get stuff under the straps. On my Grid-It right now is a mouse, a magic trackpad, headphones, 4 AA batteries, the apple battery charger with 2 more batteries, and a pen and stylus. Sure, you could probably make your own at home, just like you could make home-made post-it notes, but I would say the construction of this thing is hard to beat. You can also always rearrange the way your stuff fits on it. There are a LOT of different straps and strap sizes for holding stuff. I think I'm going to get another!

    Awesome Organizer

    • Written by from Fayetteville

I love this organizer! My husband quickly decided he needed one as well! No more cords everywhere and all tangled up in my bag! They are nicely organized and no longer have to worry about digging through a zippered pouch for the right one, and it seems more slim line than throwing them all in a zippered compartment in my bag. Highly recommend! I would give it 5 stars, but some of my elastic bands are losing elasticity and looking a little frazzled and I don't consider myself a rough and tumble user....I would also be a little happier if the bands were just a little different. Sometimes I have trouble accessing certain items, or finding the right band for others. So, while it's not "perfect" it's still worth the money for the function and all that it provides.

    It's Amazing

I bought mine at the Apple Store in NYC on a lark. The result is that I am so much better organized. Everything fits better in the three-dimensional space of my briefcase. This is the best resource I've ever seen to organize all of the toys that go along with your devices. I wish I'd invented it.

    Junk

I bought one of these. Everything still disappears to the bottom of my bag. Stuff just falls out. I have reverted to an old washbag to carry my stuff around in. The washbag takes up a lot less space also.

    Very, Very Useful.

    • Written by from Hastings

This organiser is awesome. Instead of having your tech contents floating around your bag, it is all strapped to this!

I got the medium one, and I have my lumia phone, 3 USB Charge cables, 2 x USB Sticks, Portable Pocket Hard Drive, USB to Serial adaptor, Wired Mouse, Thunderbolt to Ethernet adaptor and a couple of pens.

I would go for the bigger one - I thought it was going to be too big, but the medium looks like the small in the picture.

Worth the NZD$40 I paid for it, Simple design, but so cool.

Good for extra cables and accessories

    • Written by from OGDEN

This is not a case, it is an organizer with many horizontal and vertical straps to put any accessories and cables that you have. I put my MacBook Pro's charging cable and brick on this to keep it from rattling around as well as a few other cables. Like a previous reviewer mentioned about contorting, it does feel like it is not sturdy enough for that, but after a month so far I have had minimal contorting. Would recommend to anyone with a less than organized backpack.

    Great but backboard?

    • Written by from Campbell

This is a great product from cocoon. I'm a student, and it has been great for me. But now here's the problem. It has elastic bands that go straight horizontal and vertical. It's a thin, flat piece of. What ever it is. And it doesn't seem to be too strong. If you let it sit with a bunch of stuff in it for a long time, it starts to contort. Mine at the moment is still relatively flat, but it has turned into a parabola. But despite the strength issue, the organization this provides is phenomenal. Especially if you have a few pens and pencils, then a flash drive or 2, and your iphone (or itouch, which ever you have. If you have an android, just don't even read this.) (That was a joke android fans) plus its charger.

In other words, great product, but over time, and fyi, it starts to contort. Great for $25 though.

    No Way!

    • Written by from Dallas

I was really disappointed in this item! I thought it was a case, as the word Cacoon makes you think it is a Case. It is just a flat and rather cheaply constructed board. Uh, could not even think of anyone that would enjoy it.
It the first item I have ordered on the Apple website that does not measure up to the quality that Apple represents!
Sorry back it goes! Remember Flat and cheaply made!
