    Just doesn't cut it

This screen protector protects about 80-90% of the screen which in my opinion isn't enough. Is it that hard to design a screen protector that covers the entire screen? Really Power Support. You fail. $15 for two screen protectors that only do most of the job. I bought an expensive phone and I would like to protect it 100%. I will be returning this asap.

The only positive thing about this is that what screen portion it does cover, it does it well. I actually like the way my finger glides across the screen. I usually keep my screen brightness down anyway to conserve battery so the diminished screen visibility with this on doesn't really bother me. I didn't even try the facetime camera with it on because as soon as I saw how bad it was, I took it off.

Next time Power Support, don't fail so hard.

Quality cover from POWER SUPPORT - I am really impressed with it - the fit is perfect + I also like the matte finish to the cover. It is a little bit on the pricey side, but if the cover lasts 6, 8, or 10 months or beyond - I think it's not a bad investment, and of course you do get 2 covers.

Personally I think you need to apply the cover FIRST time - or you will run the risk of getting finger marks on the clean side.
Use a decent lint free cloth to carefuly clean your phone (in a clean dust free environment) - But take your time + read the instructions on how to apply.
My better half my lovely Wife applied the cover, she does card crafting and is a amazing at it + she has areally steady hand.
    Kind regards.

OK, before putting this Power Support HD Anti-Glare screen protector on my minty iPhone4 i had tried another one that I had bought at the local BigBox electronics store for $16 for 3 .. they were bad, but in comparison not by much. I had used a Power Support film on my iPod touch a while back and was very happy with the quality. This one though - I don't know if its because it is a new "HD" film, or if they have changed manufacturing . . it just doesn't adhere properly to my phone or my wifes. I follow the directions, it's nice and clean, use the pre-install film, and on both installs they don't completely adhere in the upper left corner - about a 1" long by 1/8" wide strip along the edge of the phone and a small section toward the bottom on both phones. I haven't taken it off and tried to reapply yet, but it seems like soon it will just come off due to these big bubbles that won't go away. Maybe the iPhone 4 should just not have a screen protector on it. This film has more of a silky friction feel than the other film that was slick and slippery.

Best screen protector I have used

    • Written by from Shrewsbury

I have been using this screen protector since I received a replacement phone from Apple after a hardware malfunction a year ago. When I got the new phone I wanted to look after it, so bought this screen protector. I have since dropped my phone multiple times on to concrete, tiled floors, and once even had a heavy-based lamp fall straight on to my phone screen (all by accident!). Underneath the screen protector my phone looks like new, even after these accidents. I would recommend it to anyone. I have not noticed any significant decrease in screen quality, and that has remained the same throughout a year of usage.
One thing I would recommend is asking someone at the Apple store to fit the screen protector for you. I had mine fitted at the Regent Street store, and it has been perfect ever since.

Pretty much good with some cons

    • Written by from Turramurra

This thing is pretty good, the pros are that the quality is really good and I can see the amount of effort put into the making of this product. It really reduces glare, I can look directly at the reflection of the sun without my eyes hurting. I have a really oily face and fingers, yet it still reduces fingerprints/ smudges drastically. It still leaves just a tiny little bit of fingerprints I have to say, but that's because of my fingers' oiliness. The bad thing about this is that it really degrades the Retina Display. Power Support's other product, the crystal clear film, is really awesome at preserving the clarity and sharpness of the Retina Display, but will leave heaps of fingerprints/ smudges, at least for my fingers.

Overall, this product is awesome, and it you dont't like the idea of the degradation of your Retina Display, check out this company's other product. I have both and both are great.

I am so disappointed with this. After upgrading from my iPhone 4 to the 4s version I decided to protect my screen this time round to keep it perfect. I didn't with my iPhone 4 and after two years of use it's still in pretty good nick despite usually kicking around the bottom of my handbag or in the clutches of my 4 year old. I have to say I'd rather suffer a few light scratches than lose the enjoyment of crystal clear clarity that this protector takes away from the phone. I feel like I'm looking at my boyfriends rubbishy old HTC wildfire!! I'm surprised Apple sell this in their store! Yes it's easy to apply and fits perfectly........but I may as well have have bought a phone from the dark ages now that the screen is muted and grainy. If you value your photos and appreciate the superb quality of picture DO NOT STICK THIS TO YOUR PHONE!!!!

Too Fussy to fit & a 1 off use per Cover.

After going through I don't know how many Protective Screens, just getting them on without bubbles, and failing every time. Apple had the Moshi Screen Protector for AU$29.99, I bought one from Hong Kong for AU$20.50, had to wait a bit longer but saved $10. It went on perfectly 2nd try. It is completely bubble free, leaves no residue, is washable and reusable. I have it fitted on my new iPhone 4S which is inside an Otter Defender Box. Complete protection and easily removed to go into a Leather Belt Pouch when not working in the bush. Don't waste your money, buy the best and pay only once.

Belatedly purchased a screen cover for my 4s after putting one scratch on the screen. This is without questions the best product of its kind I have come across. Good quality, lovely feel, easy to apply and makes using the iPhone a pleasure.
One but....it does by it's nature affect the screen dynamic. This is a shame because the 4s's retina display is a thing of beauty. This has not put me off as I think it is a price worth paying but others might be disappointed.

    Highly recommended

    • Written by from Blackburn

I have no hesitation recommending this product. The beautiful retina display is left intact, any suggestions to the contrary are nonsense in my opinion. The overall screen quality is very slightly affected (as with any matte film) but it's a worthwhile tradeoff for having no more reflections and no more seeing yourself in the phone like a mirror! Well worth it.

    Does what it says

    • Written by from woollahra

With my old cheap screen protector, when it was sunny, I couldn't even see to dial. I'm pleased with the product as it does cut out glare and eliminates fingerprints - two very big plusses. However, I agree with other reviewers that image quality is somewhat reduced. In the end, it's your choice. For me, being able to see the screen well enough to take a photo outdoors or dial far outweighs the reduction in display quality, and therefore just about worth the expense.

    Not HD Compatible

    • Written by from Singapore

Always been a fan of the Power Support brand. Unfortunately, this products name is misleading as it does not seem to be compatible with the Retina screen. The anti glare feature significantly reduces the clarity of the retina display and makes the display look grainy.

In the end I had to remove it and buy the normal Power Support clear display instead which retains the clarity of the Retina screen. Only buy this product if you can accept a degraded display after application!!

    Air Pockets

A complete and total waste of money. I expect more of products sold in Apple stores. Air pockets all around the edge. Yes I did clean the screen with a lint free cloth. It was an unused iphone. Used the pre-installation film properly and fitted the film carefully and properly after removing the pre-installation film. The product just does not adhere to the edges of the phone. This will mean that the edges will snag and lift the whole film. I suggest Apple throw all of their stock to the garbage heap.

Initial thought of saving some money so got unknown brand anti-glare film from handphone shop but the edges simply doesn't stick well and keep peeling off. After few days give up and decided to order back Power Support HD Anti-Glare Film.

It's easy to apply and I can DIY myself without any issue. Most impt no more bubble edges. Price you're paying actually paid for 2pcs inside so can even share with your friend. In future I wont bother to try any other stuff outside anymore.

does not work with white iPhone

Be careful, these clear protectors are not compatible with the white iPhone - it stops the display switching off when it is up against your phone - the end result is that your face will activate buttons. This doesn't affect the black iPhone.

The film itself works as expected and does the job. Installation is easy enough. However, it comes with two front films and only one pre-installation film. This is a bit odd considering you are supposed to use the pre-installation film before applying the the protective film. I guess it is a spare in case you mess up the installation.
